Hi. I've been watching your videos. Can I ask you which one it's best for visibility racingvision gt200 or white vision ultra 4200k? There's no white vision 3700k anymore. Keep up the good work. Thanks
Hello! Get RV GT200. They are still the best halogen. WVU 4200K appeared way better in my videos than in reality, and on rain they are really weak. Donțt expect pure white light or xenon/LED brightness and all will be ok. Thank you as well. I wish you all the best!
@m3rovingian yeah, I bought the wvu for my motorcycle and it's when I notice that it's a different between the wv and wvu. The light was very dim. Will I tell the noticeable difference between a standard light for the rv gt200? Thank you very much for your help
Will WV and RV bulbs last for more than a year? I drive over many speed bumps where I live and many potholes and uneven road surfaces here in the UK countryside. I read that the lifespan of a halogen bulb has to do with how many bumps/drops it has. I will not bother upgrading my halogen bulbs if none can last me at least 18 months as it is not worth the money to get the bulbs changed every 6-8 months. Anything you can recommend for H7 halogen on a VW Polo 2016 (reflector not projector) that will last a good amount of time and is better than the stock dim yellow bulbs for my dipped beams?
Both WHiteVision 3700K and RacingVision GT200 will last more than 1 year. I have a friend that had RacingVision GT200 for about 3 years. So it's possible.

Hi there, well done for the video, its was greate. I have a w245 2006. I drive too much at the night, im not interested on having a white or brighter light. The 2 things that i want are: to see as much as possibile and the lifetime too. So wich philips type do you think its better ? I like gt200 too much but it has some negative comments about the lifetime. Thank you
it depends on the quality of roads you drive on. A friend of mine had them for 3 years. I'd get them with confidence but be careful how you install them and where you drive.

Salut.
Bought and tested whitevision ultra today (h7). Disappointed.. not white and not powerful. Do you think should i buy racingvisiongt200? Is it going to be more powerful light over wvultra? If not, i will keep using it. Currently there is low light while driving on the street. I was not expected that.
@@Mo_Honcho I tested GE Sportlight Ultra with the same 4200k. Nut again. These bulbs are bad on rain and wet roads because they make the asphalt appear black. You will have trouble seeing things.

I think the white vision ultra is better than the racing Vision but I must admit they are not very good in the rain I used to have white vision in my car very good in the dry and a little bit better in the rain but I found there were two yellow for me the white vision ultra would definitely more whiter but did reduced visibility a little bit he probably good videos love it
Sorry, no measuring of the White Vision makes this video useless, now I still don't know the difference, and on video we can't really see it because a camera never caputures what your eye sees. The measuring shot takes way too long, we don't need to see that for 3 minutes, most people find that boring. If you make them 5-10 seconds max (unless you talk a lot that takes longer), that's more then enough to see it all and makes it a more pleasant time to watch. And I'm sure you put a lot of effort in making the video, but I wish you made the driving shots more synced for an exact side-by-side comparison. Hope to help you with this constructive critisism :)
Constructive criticism doesn't make use of terms like useless, boring. I didn't had the lightmeter when I tested WhiteVision ultra. I guess you didn't manage to type the entire name of the bulb. Either way my oppinion should matter to those who take my word for it when I say WhiteVision ultra are just as bad as OSRAM Cool Blue Intense Next Gen, especially on rain. You have the lightmeter numbers for CBI and you can make an idea of what WhiteVision ultra would've scored.
@@m3rovingian Thank you for your reply. Constructive critisism tells what's wrong and what can improve for the future, that may include these words. I changed my message a bit, is that better? Further, thank you for explaning about the WhiteVision Ultra, that's not to be seen or heard in the video. Are they maybe still better then cheap standard bulbs? Max brightness is not all that counts or make a bulb good or bad. Same for the color, some prefer warm white, others prefer cold white. Lifespan is usually shorter on the brighter bulbs like these 2 in your video, that makes the less bright standard 'bad' bulbs better. So, what make you say the WhiteVision Ultra is bad?
@@knightwolf200612 With halogen you need as much brightness as possible, because on the road the light is significantly reduced,e specially if the asphalt is wet. That's when the most visibility problems occur. Feel free to get what halogen you want. I bring here my honest experience with all of them. I have nothing to gain from any brand. WhiteVision ultra have nothing to do with the old WHiteVision which I liked the most. They have more bluecoating that makes their light fade away bid time on rain or wet roads. Also the light color isn't pure white either. So everybody has to loose, those who want stylish look or those who are looking for a better visibility. Not to mention the low lifespan of around 6 months.
@@m3rovingian In my opinion, warm white works better then cold white. That's always, but specially on wet/rain. Cold white makes white/very light surfaces more visible, but warm white makes the dark colors/road surface/road side more visible. Ofcourse you need most brightness as possible. I don't have experience with any of these yet so I do believe your opinion in which are better and worse, but I think you can't call WhiteVision Ultra 'bad' when that's still better then stock/cheap/eco bulbs, like the ones I have now and going to be replaced with better.
@@knightwolf200612 WhiteVision ultra are better than stock only in the look aspect. on the road they are just as weak. That's what I try to make you understand. When the rain will come you'll wonder if you turned on the low beam. From all the halogens I'd get philips RacingVision GT200 on H4 and H7 or OSRAM Night Breaker 200 for H11. For H1 the best choice is Philips X-tremeVision Pro150. If you'll try the HIKARI or LUXSTER LED, you won't be able to come back to halogen.

So why do you prefer white vision instead of Racing Vision GT 200? For H7 and for H1? Thanks
WhiteVision gives a better visibility feeling and lasts way longer than RacingVision. On H1 you can't find RV anyway.
@@jonnyli12 Yes, for sure with RV GT200 you'll see the improvement over standard and over WVU.
