- The classic 1970s BBC comedy Porridge was visited in 1977 by Blue Peter's John Noakes to see how the show was made. Short but fascinating interviews with Ronnie Barker, Richard Beckinsale, Fulton Mackay and the producer Sydney Lotterby make this 8 minute video a must watch for all Porridge fans.
Very good sharing and really great
Nice video. Nice sharing. New one
Shep's great
7:05 Sounds like Noakes says 'Do you get an erection from prison warders?'....
I thought he said that too!!!!
....and me !!! 😅 ..... We’ve all got British Innuendo/Malapropism/Double Entendre/ Smuttiness hearing problems. Probably brought about by being raised in the 60’s & 70’s and watching far too many Carry On films !!

That car still exists. A 1970 Marcos Coupe, but it's red now.
