Oh jeez I read the title 1998 and was confused throughout the whole video thinking ’didnt the film come out in 88’ then when the video ended i’m like ’I’m so stupid’. Lol
It's interesting that the audience is really not into it. I think they were apprehensive before Good Morning maybe? Interesting Letterman interview regardless. Wayyyy different later on
agree. I feel that Letterman is a little slow. you can tell he only gets half of what Robin is saying. They don't seem to enjoy each others company a whole lot either.
@@Xbigmike17X you are so very wrong. They have known each other for decades, back when Dave and him would do stand up together. Robin even got Dave spots on the 70's TV show Happy Days and also Laverne & Shirley. I think there's a story mentioned on video somewhere is that Dave saved Robin from either a drug or booze overdose. The kind of "at arms length" demeanor of Dave is just Dave. Carson was the same, once the cameras are off Johnny would just head off away from people.
that's not true at all. almost all his films possessed both comedy and drama. That's why this man is considered a performance geniouse. Not just a comic
Obviously he was trying to tone down his interviews at this point. I didn’t agree with his politics but he was never mean spirited about it. He has made me laugh out loud literally hundreds of times. Wasn’t afraid to make fun of anyone which is the way it always was supposed to be.
I'm happy Robin was always so honest and expressive. He made sitting through Letterman, and others, bearable.
Yup
I Love and will always miss Robin Williams!
Loved him in his movies and stand up!!! I miss him SO much!!! :-(
Rest in powerful peace my favorite celebrity and homie of all time Robin McLaurin Williams 🙏

Robin is so missed.
exactly, i wonder if any of his children got his talent 🤩🤣😁🌹missed you Robin no one can ever take your place. R I P
His daughter, Zelda, seems to have picked up a measure of his humour.
On an interview he said one of his boys was a writer & the other was studying acting.
Everything fro this man teaches me, nothing is forlorn
If you like comedy and don't like Robin you are dead to me.
He’s not funny at all
That handgun-Michigan joke aged real well.
Some things never change haha
My like made 100. Surprised there are so few

As a Brit, I can’t believe how uptight & prudish the Americans are ?????

i prefer Robin's interviews on Johnny Carson's show.
2 each his own preferences...

You are so right

@@Xbigmike17X Nonsense.
They experimented Albert Einsteins brain after death, why not Robin Williams?
Good Morning Vietnam was his peak. Never such a mix of laughs and drama in his films again.
"his peak" Gtfoh

So in other words you stopped watching his material from that point on.
😂

He said “ Shazam” 😂
Predictable, obsessive, repetitivo. But funny.
Letterman is a boring guy
why does he look like a clone here?
