Which one is better for your build? and why?
For me personaly, I'll take deadeye for spot up shooters and blinders for iso shooters
I do a lot of fades so I prioritize blinders but I’m putting all my extra badge points in shooting so I can equip deadeye as well
I like blinders for stepbacks/pull ups

I really want them to merge these two back into one badge.
What was it before

@@latrelljack8751 yeah it was, that’s why it was most wanted badge for many years for shooting. I remember grinding like 2-3 days for that badge back on 2k15

I shoot mostly corner 3s and if your man slightly sags off and you have a quick shot deadeye is clutch. If you shoot on ball a lot blinders is probably more beneficial but off ball shooters who use claymore probably want deadeye because the closeout is more consistently in front when you're stationary. Just m/o

Damn I never considered this. I’ve been shooting 58% from 3 with just blinders. I can probably move some badges around to try deadeye instead.

I use deadeye & ima 6’9 Pg that iso. So when I fade it’s unexpected, they expect a rim run. If u can dribble a lil & create some space u don’t even need blinders. Unless I take a bad fade I rarely get contested on my fades
I play Rec, (6'9 SF with 85 3pt.) I really only take open shots but, sometimes the defender will close out alittle faster than expected so I'm rocking Deadeye.

One thing I think we are a bit confused on is whether deadeye/blinders lowers the contest percentage, thereby providing a boost, or whether they provide a boost despite the extra contest. For the test you wouldn't have to measure the specific amount of boost, so it might be doable, but you would have to record the contest percentages and which badges activate. Probably would have to do them one at a time, then combine them

I use both DE on silver and Blinders on Gold but for my experience I think deadeye works the bes. If u know your shot release it’s almost as if there not even there

Tried Deadeye a few times and it never popped up. Even on contests from the front, Blinders kept popping up because the activation range is so much bigger this year and it's pretty common for defenders to contest slightly to the side even on standing shots. Deadeye just hasn't been it for me this time around.
Also, if someone happens to throw a late pass to me when I'm sitting in the corner, all I have to do is move a little to the side and fade. Blinders activates every time in that instance

Deadeye fits my play style most. I do take some blinder shots some times though.

If you have both and the contest is coming from the green zone the boost stacks right?

As a comp pro-am wing shooter, I prefer deadeye. Been trying blinders to see, and it doesn't activate too much. Deadeye activates more for wing shooters.
What would you prefer from a ball handler put guard to put on?

I use all the badges that cost 5 points or more and the only one I see working a lot is agent 3 the other 2 deadeye blinders I just think points put somewhere else

i can put both on silver or one on gold and the other on bronze im a very agressive shooter either catch and shoot or wit the ball in my hands im usually the main ballhandler on my 6'9 3&D point what should i do? leave bother silver or one gold other bronze?

If you shoot fades, then use blinders… if you shoot spot-up shots… use deadeye.
If you have 25 shooting badges, at least 91 3pt, & under 6’4… core Agent 3 on Gold. Use HOF green machine, Gold deadeye/blinders/Catch&Shoot.

@@wokhz2k811. Limitless range is tier 3 compared to catch&shoot being tier 2. So gold Catch&Shoot is equivalent to bronze limitless range in terms of amount of badges
2. You either shoot Catch&Shoot shots or off the dribble shots (agent 3) so you’ll activate it way more than limitless range.
3. You can only activate limitless range from the wing or top of the key. Catch&Shoot is being activate anywhere if you shot a Catch&Shoot shot.
4. Limitless range barely stacks with any other badges so you’re basically using only 1 badge when you shoot from there.
IMO limitless range hard to stack with other badges and it’s a very situational shot. If you want to shoot from there then just have that as your main takeover.
@@LaMartyMar i get what you’re saying but nah gold limitless range lets you shoot from half court without takeover it’s a game changer, you should be greening all your catch and shoot shots anyway especially with a 91+ 3pt you really shouldn’t need to invest 5-7 badge points into that. With limitless range it makes you a threat from anywhere they have to guard you up so high it’s easy buckets especially with how fast the small guards are
Is a 89 acceleration for a guard good?
Depends on how you play.. I have 95 on my 6'1 that I mostly play proam/rec with
Acceleration over speed with ball 🤷🏽♂️. Especially if you rely on finishing at the rate-gets you there the fastest
I advise to get it as high as possible as a guard...if you're trying to save points, save on SWB not accel....ACCELL > SWB on guards all day

People are ignoring the fact that badges this year opens up animations/cause favorable animations to happen more often. I believe Deadeye works somewhat like Clampbreaker where it gives you better shooting animations when a man is closing out
