How to Download a Video from Facebook?
Are you looking for a newly working way on how to Download Facebook Videos? Well, you're definitely in the right place. I'm going to show you a simple trick that will help you Download and save Facebook videos to your computer without using any software or plugin. Hope it helps!!!.
Steps to Download Facebook videos (Updated Steps - November 2020):
1. Find the Facebook video which you want to download.
2. Right-click on Date/Time, then select Copy link address.
3. Go to your browser, open a new tab, then paste the video URL.
4. Change www or web to mbasic and press Enter on your keyboard.
5. Click on the video to open it in a new window.
6. While it's playing, right click on it and select Save Video As....
7. You can give it a name if you want, then choose a destination where to save it and press the Save button.
That's it! That's how you download videos from Facebook without using any software or plugin.

I noticed in your later steps that you said, before saving, have the video playing - I hadn't and it didn't give me the save video option. HOWEVER, when I went back to your really clear instructions I realised I needed the video to be playing - and it worked! Thank you so much.

How am i supposed to save a HD video?
I have 3 different programs for saving videos and FB blocked every one from saving the one clip I wanted.

Possibly to this resolution: H.264 / H.263, one of those.

@@Blindconnection i don't have an Instagram account. Do you know if he would be able to recover data off of Maxtor hdd? It has a bad stylus arm but the 3 platters are fine. This is the 2nd Maxtor that has quit on me like this. I bought them at them at the same time. Seagate and WD are the only one s I will use from now on. Thanks in advance.

January 19, 2019 - the instructions in this video worked perfectly. Win 7 64bit 16GB Ram. This instruction is perfect; no added software, just follow the instruction (save it in Pocket) - I've looked for a way to download facebook video files for quite a while. I've been using Camtasia Studio for screen capture; accurate, but slow. Thanks! :~)

I was worried this was some garbage scam, but it's not. You access the mobile version of FB and can then save the source video as a mobile sized video. Nice work, thank you!
