It's the song Kim and then the continue is 97' Bonnie and Clyde. You need to listen to it too. Greetings from Switzerland you guys doing a great job. I love your reaction keep going :)
So, this song first was meant to be a love song. But he started writing and this is what came out. I think he said in an interview that all the frustration of being abused just came out. As far as I've read about them two, she used to torment him, psychologically mainly, but there were even some physical moments. He kicked everyone out of the studio when recording it. And yes, she declared that this song made her want to commit suicide after he performed it on stage.
I listened to this song when i was 14, yeah his emotions in this track are dark and raw in your face!. And still to this day no matter how Eminem has changed, this song will always stand out as Eminem´s hardest track. I like Criminal too.
its one of those songs you either understand the ethos and feeling behind it or you take it at face value. The whole song is a love song told from the perspective of somone who has a attatchment to somone who FEELS betrayed by them but in reality as he points out in the song he cheated first so its not justification to kill her. Its just a pure expression of 'love' for someone the moment they do something to hurt you. As the song progresses he realises what hes doing but doubles down because he is manic and jealous. Also this song along with other songs hes produced that kinda follow the story so Stan and 67' Bonnie n Clyde and also you have my darling which is when hes fighting relapsing and the whole song is a double for kim and drug addiction.
I’ll start my comment by saying that yes, he has done this live. There also rumours that he invited Kim to a concert, promised he wouldn’t play it, then did specifically for her. Now, just like most reactions, people are pretty off base about what this song actually is. It’s genius. It’s a masterful piece of auditory art. There’s so many levels to what makes this such an intensely good piece of art. For starters, it’s a story in real time. A first person, real time story. Almost like a movie in song form. I could be mistaken, but I don’t know of any other artist that has done this. Most stories in songs are told in past tense. Moving along, the obvious bit...the emotion. There’s isn’t a music artist alive who could put forth this kind of emotion. Quite frankly, I don’t think that there’s many actors capable of emoting on this level, simply because this is Eminem’s story. It’s personal. He didn’t have to do character study or anything like that. This was his real emotion. Now we get into the actual story and progression (Or regression) of his state of mind. As the song goes on, we see his rationality deteriorating from an already violently irrational place. He thinks it makes sense that Kim killed her husband and kid in a fight, then spit her own throat. Any detective who finds three bodies with their throats slit, and no suicide note, isn’t going to assume suicide. The immediate assumption would be triple homicide, likely by the scorned lover who’s relationship with the victim was historically violent and tumultuous. Further proof of just how irrational he’s become, is when he tries to disassociate with the situation, by going back to happy memories...”remember the time we went to Brian’s party?/ and you were like so drunk that you threw up all over Archie?/ More to the seamless ness of the song...it’s almost like you forget that he’s actually rhyming. But he is...very well. Doing what he does best, using clever wording to perfectly suit the moment. Nobody does this better. He finds the most perfect wording to describe something, and somehow makes it all rhyme together. Oh, and let’s not forget that that’s him doing Kim’s voice, as well. Honestly, people hear this song and recoil. But I’ve listened to it at least once a week for the last nearly 20 years. I’m still picking up on things I didn’t notice. It’s such a masterfully crafted piece of music. I understand that the content isn’t for everyone. But as an artist, myself, I can’t help but listen to this in awe, even after nearly 20 years.
Twisted Truth yeah course she was in the audience with family and friends that night. There used to be a video of that performance years ago on the internet but it seems like it disappeared forever
He invited her and her friends to a open tour concert the first song he did was this with her and and her friends front row! She bawled her eyes out and left she said it in a interview
He actually said he wouldn’t do this live but during a concert in detroit with Kim in the audience he did it live which led to her trying to commit suicide
@@EpickaNESSiskool he doesn’t do it live anymore just like cleaning out my closet but yes he did with Kim there after promising he wouldn’t and she left and slit her wrist fuck you mean wrong
This is more than a song, it's a masterpiece. Who else can paint such a vivid picture of the battles of love and hate in song form like this? This is pure raw heartbreak, this is his pain and release in words. Yes this is a very powerful and violent song but it's also an amazing song.
I wish we got more ambitious and experimental tracks like this in the modern rap era. Obviously, this isn’t a bop to roll your windows down and sing along to, but this is what the best art is, an expression of incredibly dark things that we all have inside of us (to some extent).
The catatonic expression on both their faces expresses all the feeling you need to know about this bit - and why this bit is genius. Holy crap the emotions it spawns. Em is *the* goat.
He did this live when they got back together and she was at the concert and it started with him throwing a blow up doll into the audience! She left lol
Lyrics: Aww, look at daddy's baby girl That's daddy's baby, little sleepy head Yesterday I changed your diaper, wiped you and powdered you How did you get so big? Can't believe it, now you're two Baby you're so precious, daddy's so proud of you Sit down bitch! You move again I'll beat the shit out of you! (Okay) Don't make me wake this baby! She don't need to see what I'm 'bout to do! Quit crying, bitch! Why do you always make me shout at you?! How could you just leave me and love him out the blue?! Oh, what's the matter Kim, am I too loud for you?! Too bad, bitch! You're gonna finally hear me out this time! At first, I'm like: "Aight, you wanna throw me out; that's fine!" But not for him to take my place! Are you out your mind?! This couch, this TV, this whole house is mine! How could you let him sleep in our bed?! Look it, Kim! Look at your husband now! (No!) I said, look at him! He ain't so hot now, is he, little punk?! (Why are you doing this?!) Shut the fuck up! (You're drunk! You're never gonna get away with this!) You think I give a fuck?! Come on! We're going for a ride, bitch! (No!) Sit up front! (We can't just leave Hailie alone! What if she wakes up?) We'll be right back; well, I will: you'll be in the trunk! So long, bitch you did me so wrong I don't wanna go on, living in this world without you You really fucked me Kim! You really did a number on me! What the fuck's this guy's problem on the side of me? Fuck you asshole! Yeah, bite me! Kim, Kim! Why don't you like me? You think I'm ugly, don't you? (It's not that!) No, you think I'm ugly (Baby) Get the fuck away from me! Don't touch me! I hate you! I hate you! I swear to God, I hate you! Oh my God, I love you! How the fuck could you do this to me?! (I'm sorry!) (Yes) That was funny, wasn't it?! (Yes!) See, it all makes sense, doesn't it? You and your husband have a fight One of you tries to grab a knife, and during the struggle He accidentally gets his Adam's apple sliced! (No!) And while this is going on, his son just woke up and he walks in She panics and he gets his throat cut! (Oh my God!) So now they both dead, and you slash your own throat So now it's double homicide and suicide with no note! I should've known better when you started to act weird We coulda... hey, where you going? Get back here! You can't run from me Kim! It's just us, nobody else! You're only making this harder on yourself! Ha-ha, got ya! Go ahead, yell! Here, I'll scream with you! "Ah, somebody help!" Don't you get it bitch? No one can hear you! Now shut the fuck up and get what's coming to you! You were supposed to love me!! Now bleed bitch, bleed!! Bleed bitch, bleed!! Bleed!! Kim said in an interview that she first heard this song performed while she was backstage & he had a life-sized look alike doll that he knocked around during the performance. She attempted self deletion after that.
He performed this live in Detroit with Kim the crowd and left to cut her wrists…..😮😮😮😮. other songs I associate with this Music Box, Amyityville, and Buffalo Bill would be great songs to listen too.
One: Kim sued him over this, if I’m not mistaken. Two: he did perform the song live in 2000 and, not only that, but he mitigated a doll that looked like her during the song.
People that have been hurt sometimes loose their minds thank God he had music as an outlet. In some ways I can identify with this song... I was born in 95 so obviously eminem was in my life but I never really listened to this song till recently.... and wouldhave never thought I could relate to this... but sometimes we loose our minds when a true love is lost.
*Just think about it for a second...this “KIM” song actually happened in reality in another dimension outside of the one that we exist in at this moment in time but time really doesn’t exist but it does..we don’t exist but we do..🤯*
Also rumor is he did it once in Detroit on July 7th 2000 because he knew Kim was in attendance but I don't think any video exists which is probably for the best
He used to perform it live, Kim brought her family to one of his shows and asked him not to play it, but he did anyway with blow up dolls of her on stage getting choked and stabbed. That was the night she tried to commit suicide.
Back in the day, during the heyday of this album and song Em did this song live in concert during the Up and Smoke tour in Detroit where he used a blow-up doll referencing Kim and when she found out to tried to cut her wrist it was all over the news here locally in Detroit back then. But he doesn't do that song in concert anymore. Since then.
She tried to cut her own wrist, back then because of that song but Em is a totally changed person from then much more mature, and of course drug and alcohol free now when he wasn't back then and same with her. Btw one of the best concerts live to see ever was that one especially during that time here in Detroit. The lineup Missy Elliot, Ludicrous, MC Ren, Ice Cube, Eminem, Dr.Dre Snoop Dog. Also D12 (RIP Proof) and Nate Dogg (RIP) Kruppt, Warren G, (Epic Hip Hop Concert at that time.
He did sing this song on stage in front of KIM. They were getting back together and she asked him NOT to sing the song anymore. She left the concert, got into an accident, almost killed herself because of it.
Yes he did it in concert.. He kept it under wraps until he did his first big concert in Detroit. And Kim paid for a ticket and was at the venue when he unveiled it and everyone in the crowd had their jaws drop.. And Kim went in the restroom and slit her wrists... He talked about it in an interview with him and Dre.
Actually standing was a reference to this song, as he also states in the song that he ain't slit her throat he just tried her up so if she suffocates then she'll suffer then die to and at the end of the song he slits Kim's throat and refers to it being a little scratch to hailie in 97 bonnie and clyde
they're not real metal heads, they are backwards hicks who think any song with a guitar in it is heavy metal. They bug the absolute shit outta me, bunch a posers.
It's funny because people don't realize that metal and hip hop music are pretty much really similar to each other. If you like metal you can find hip hop music to like as well and I would say the same if you like hip hop you would like metal too if you did some digging
97 Bonnie and Clyde is the prequel to this song on his first lp. "There's a place called heaven and a place called hell a place called prison and a place called jail and daddy's going to everyone besides one."
Yes he actually did preform this song live. Kim was there also. She asked him not to but his fans wanted him to so he did. And to be fair Eminem has hundreds of tracks not released. Dr.Dre does stop some of Eminem’s shit. Dr. Dre himself admitted himself he has so many songs by Eminem that he never released so. Eminem literally wrote songs about his feelings whatever and however he felt.
He did this song live and Kim was in the audience and all the fans started singing along with it and Kim went home and slit her wrists. I love em but this song is crazy but I art
He’s done this track live lol and also had a blow up sex doll that looked like Kim that he threw into the crowd to tear up while he sang lol and also Kim was in the audience because Eminem invited her that night. She ended up leaving early and cutting her wrist that night. So yeah he did it live lol
5:21 You are absolutely right about that girl. There's actually a great song showing the other side (a more positive one, I guess?) of their relationship and it's not a single, it's called "Crazy in Love" and it's pretty fucking dope. I don't think anyone has ever even reacted to it on RUclips, and not that it's a rare one or anything, because it isn't.
He did perform the song on stage, while Kim was at the show «Eminem’s double ex-wife, Kim Mathers, said his performance of a song wishing her dead, in which he choked a blow up doll on stage meant to be her, drove her to attempt suicide by slitting her wrists. She said he had promised not to include that song in his gig in their hometown of Detroi that night, and it just drove her to harm herself afterwards»
The thing I love about this song, cleaning out my closet and stan is that it's the same chorus but with every verse the chorus gets a lil darker and more meaningful.
I remember when my cousin let me listen to this in his car for the first time he blasted it and I was like wtf, then a couple yrs late I ended up with a libra man just like Em and he kidnapped me and held me in a hotel in Gainesville then was forced to go to anger management by the courts but ended up not completing them and breaking into my mothers house and writing cryptic shit on my mirror in red melted candle wax, and calling me at another guy’s house and threatening to kill us all then the cops were called…and so yeah, time is a flat circle.
No kidding, in early 2000 when I haven't seen 8 Mile yet and I heard he won an Oscar, I thought this is the song he won an Oscar for, I thought it was part of the movie and I also thought he won somekind of an Acting Award for this one lol

As far as I've read about them two, she used to torment him, psychologically mainly, but there were even some physical moments. He kicked everyone out of the studio when recording it. And yes, she declared that this song made her want to commit suicide after he performed it on stage.
Dude you lookin like you just witnessed a murder 😂 and she’s getting into it haha.
Lol honestly this is my favorite eminem song. You guys are really cool XD she always protects em and you always try to analyze it funny chemistry
I listened to this song when i was 14, yeah his emotions in this track are dark and raw in your face!.
And still to this day no matter how Eminem has changed, this song will always stand out as Eminem´s hardest track.
I like Criminal too.
He did this song live on stage while Kim was in the audience and he used a blow up doll as Kim then she left and tried to kill her self that night..
@@marcusmaire8197 he used the blow up doll for Kim too, and icp
Jase Shade no the song he performed was Kill You. Kim accidentally thought it was about her. He has never performed this live
its one of those songs you either understand the ethos and feeling behind it or you take it at face value. Also this song along with other songs hes produced that kinda follow the story so Stan and 67' Bonnie n Clyde and also you have my darling which is when hes fighting relapsing and the whole song is a double for kim and drug addiction.
my dad would play this full blast while i was sitting in the backseat nearly everyday when i 12
I’ll start my comment by saying that yes, he has done this live.
Further proof of just how irrational he’s become, is when he tries to disassociate with the situation, by going back to happy memories...”remember the time we went to Brian’s party?/ and you were like so drunk that you threw up all over Archie?/
More to the seamless ness of the song...it’s almost like you forget that he’s actually rhyming.
She was there, he did all of that. It is not a rumor, thats been confirmed. However, the lyrics are not really based in reality it's based on spite.

He did it live even though he said he wasn't gonna to.
This cause Kim to attempt suicide by cutting her wrists.
Twisted Truth yeah course she was in the audience with family and friends that night. There used to be a video of that performance years ago on the internet but it seems like it disappeared forever
Francesco Lo Cascio have you really seen it?cause I need some evidence
I cant just take kim’s words for granted
@@imro1096 wrong, he never did it live. Kim thought that him throwing the ICP doll was meant to be her
It was the song "Kill You" and Kim mistook it for the song "Kim". He never played it live in front of her.
Didn't get go to jail or something?
He invited her and her friends to a open tour concert the first song he did was this with her and and her friends front row! She bawled her eyes out and left she said it in a interview
"were 20 seconds in and the song hasn't sold I---"
Close your eyes listin to this song, ahhh feels like m dreaming of a horror movie..

This is more than a song, it's a masterpiece. Who else can paint such a vivid picture of the battles of love and hate in song form like this? This is pure raw heartbreak, this is his pain and release in words. Yes this is a very powerful and violent song but it's also an amazing song.
Not only did he do this live, but he invited Kim to his concert and performed it for everyones first time hearing it.
I wish we got more ambitious and experimental tracks like this in the modern rap era. Obviously, this isn’t a bop to roll your windows down and sing along to, but this is what the best art is, an expression of incredibly dark things that we all have inside of us (to some extent).
They said they will never listen to this song again then there is me that haves it on my favorites playlist but I have a dark sense of humor lol
For real! I felt that 💯
Me too I play it regularly
Its art ffs. Plus, some tracks are made just for the artist to get ish off his chest
The catatonic expression on both their faces expresses all the feeling you need to know about this bit - and why this bit is genius. Holy crap the emotions it spawns. Em is *the* goat.
He did this song live and used a blow up doll to represent her .
I wish there was video of that 😭
He did this live when they got back together and she was at the concert and it started with him throwing a blow up doll into the audience! She left lol
This came before Stan. The line in Stan is a reference to this song
Lyrics:
Aww, look at daddy's baby girl
That's daddy's baby, little sleepy head
Yesterday I changed your diaper, wiped you and powdered you
How did you get so big? Can't believe it, now you're two
Baby you're so precious, daddy's so proud of you
Sit down bitch! You move again I'll beat the shit out of you! (Okay)
Don't make me wake this baby!
At first, I'm like: "Aight, you wanna throw me out; that's fine!"
But not for him to take my place!
You're never gonna get away with this!)
You think I give a fuck?! Come on! We're going for a ride, bitch! (No!)
Sit up front! (We can't just leave Hailie alone! What if she wakes up?)
We'll be right back; well, I will: you'll be in the trunk!
So long, bitch you did me so wrong
I don't wanna go on, living in this world without you
You really fucked me Kim! You really did a number on me!
Never knew me cheatin' on you would come back to haunt me
But we was kids then, Kim! I was only eighteen
That was years ago! I thought we wiped the slate clean
That's fucked up! (I love you!) Oh God, my brain is racing
(I love you!) What are you doing? Change the station!
I hate this song! Does this look like a big joke? (No!)
There's a year-old little laying dead with a slit throat
In your living room! Ha-ha! What, you think I'm kidding you?!
You loved him didn't you? (No!)
Bullshit, you bitch! Don't fucking lie to me!
What the fuck's this guy's problem on the side of me?
Fuck you asshole! Yeah, bite me!
Kim, Kim! Why don't you like me? You think I'm ugly, don't you?
(It's not that!) No, you think I'm ugly (Baby)
Get the fuck away from me! Don't touch me!
I hate you! I hate you! I swear to God, I hate you!
Oh my God, I love you! How the fuck could you do this to me?!
(I'm sorry!) How the fuck could you do this to me?!
So long, bitch you did me so wrong
I don't wanna go on, living in this world without you
Come on, get out! (I can't! I'm scared!)
I said get out, bitch! (Let go of my hair!)
(Please don't do this, baby! Please! I love you!)
(Look, we can just take Hailie and leave!)
Fuck you! You did this to us! You did it! it's your fault!
Oh my God, I'm cracking up, get a grip Marshall!
Hey, remember the time we went to Brian's party
And you were, like, so drunk that you threw up all over Archie?
That was funny, wasn't it? (Yes) That was funny, wasn't it?! (Yes!)
See, it all makes sense, doesn't it?
You and your husband have a fight
One of you tries to grab a knife, and during the struggle
He accidentally gets his Adam's apple sliced! (No!)
And while this is going on, his son just woke up and he walks in
She panics and he gets his throat cut! (Oh my God!)
So now they both dead, and you slash your own throat
So now it's double homicide and suicide with no note!
I should've known better when you started to act weird
We coulda... hey, where you going? Get back here!
You can't run from me Kim! It's just us, nobody else!
You're only making this harder on yourself!
Ha-ha, got ya! Go ahead, yell!
Here, I'll scream with you! "Ah, somebody help!"
Don't you get it bitch? No one can hear you!
Now shut the fuck up and get what's coming to you!
You were supposed to love me!!
Now bleed bitch, bleed!! Bleed bitch, bleed!! Bleed!!
So long, bitch you did me so wrong
I don't wanna go on, living in this world without you
So long, bitch you did me so wrong
I don't wanna go on, living in this world without you
I feel like I'm in the song watching it all go down
its 4 years later but to answer your question. YES he did this live and invited KIM to the concert the day of....
This song is actually pretty fucking metal. Gotta love sone good old fashioned *horrorcore* hip hop. 🤘
Also we as his audience can absolutely relate to songs like these. He says out loud the feelings that we all feel but are afraid to say it.
"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME, don't touch me, I HATE YOU, I HaTe yOu, i swear to got i hate you....omg i love you"
was pure emotion, this song is evidence that true strong hatred stems form love
Kim said in an interview that she first heard this song performed while she was backstage & he had a life-sized look alike doll that he knocked around during the performance. She attempted self deletion after that.
This is the song that got me into Eminem. I was a total metalhead at the time. Great SONG.
With her in the crowd after promising he wouldn’t she left and went home and slit her wrist and almost bled out
People that have been hurt sometimes loose their minds thank God he had music as an outlet. In some ways I can identify with this song... I was born in 95 so obviously eminem was in my life but I never really listened to this song till recently.... and wouldhave never thought I could relate to this... but sometimes we loose our minds when a true love is lost.
They were together when he wrote this song. And when he played it for her all she said was “you’re fucking crazy”
*Just think about it for a second...this “KIM” song actually happened in reality in another dimension outside of the one that we exist in at this moment in time but time really doesn’t exist but it does..we don’t exist but we do..🤯*
The blank part in the song says "there's a four year old little boy lying Dead with a slit throat in your living room"
97 bonnie and clyde!!!! Gotta do this next
Her, before the song: "I need a drink"
Me: "you might want a couple of them..."
He has done this live
“Did you just say you’d be upset if you were Kim ”
💀😂
Now you guys NEED to react to Bad Husband by Eminem. It's the song where he apologizes to Kim
Now listen to eminem- bonnie and clyde, it plays right after this song
He did sing this song on stage in front of KIM. They were getting back together and she asked him NOT to sing the song anymore. She left the concert, got into an accident, almost killed herself because of it.
Yes he did it in concert.. He kept it under wraps until he did his first big concert in Detroit. And Kim paid for a ticket and was at the venue when he unveiled it and everyone in the crowd had their jaws drop.. And Kim went in the restroom and slit her wrists... He talked about it in an interview with him and Dre.
she actually gave approval for this to be released
Just responded not long ago. Drunk talk, when Eminem says "your husband," he WAS her husband! An entire, thoughtful, story clearly presented.
He invited and said he won't play theater song, but he played it anyways in front of her.
He did do it live and she was in the crowd. She left and slit her wrist trying to commit suicide she was so upset because he said he wouldn't do it
Actually standing was a reference to this song, as he also states in the song that he ain't slit her throat he just tried her up so if she suffocates then she'll suffer then die to and at the end of the song he slits Kim's throat and refers to it being a little scratch to hailie in 97 bonnie and clyde

shocking that ''metal heads" find this song to be intense
they're not real metal heads, they are backwards hicks who think any song with a guitar in it is heavy metal. They bug the absolute shit outta me, bunch a posers.

It's funny because people don't realize that metal and hip hop music are pretty much really similar to each other. If you like metal you can find hip hop music to like as well and I would say the same if you like hip hop you would like metal too if you did some digging
Metal doesnt mean its some no melody pig slaughtering music, metal is amazing
Not only did he do this in concert, Kim was in the audience.
Look at you spotting hip hop references! That's how it starts. But as someone pointed out Stan was referencing this. Welcome to the club : )
I seen a old interview kim did on 60 minutes she said he performed this song at a show back than with her in the front row
I was excited at the beginning to see yall real reaction lol good stuff yall
Stan was actually a reference to this song. But yes you’re right, they are connected.
"I'd be upset if I was kim" lmao
He did perform the song on stage, while Kim was at the show
«Eminem’s double ex-wife, Kim Mathers, said his performance of a song wishing her dead, in which he choked a blow up doll on stage meant to be her, drove her to attempt suicide by slitting her wrists. She said he had promised not to include that song in his gig in their hometown of Detroi that night, and it just drove her to harm herself afterwards»
The thing I love about this song, cleaning out my closet and stan is that it's the same chorus but with every verse the chorus gets a lil darker and more meaningful.
He promised Kim not to play this live, but the first show she got to seem him after release he did it with her being there....
Fun fact they was together when he played this song for her.
This Song Literally sounds like a Metal song, specially how loud Em is
He not only did it live, once he did it live with Kim in the stands lmao
He DID do this song live, even tho Kim asked him not to... but later on he apologized for being such a hot head
