Everyone who thinks that animal cruelty crimes are not crime worthy of the resources to investigate should know that animal abusers frequently go on to victimize humans. Very often those who abuse vulnerable animals are also willing to abuse vulnerable people, such as the elderly and children. Thank you for. taking this seriously.

You're right. In Japan, there're an underaged criminal who used to take a joy in animal cruelity and finally he did murder small children during his late teen. The way he murdered children was so cruel many people demanded him to have a trial like any other fully grown adult. Anyway he had a pretty light sentence and he's got married with a child.

As a ‘professional patient’, I’ve met some wonderful, fantastic nurses. I’ve met a few nasty ones. And one downright dangerous one. When I complained, it was told I was crazy. Later, I came across her again. Her inaction nearly killed me. There was nothing I could do about it. I noticed that other nurses were aware, too (and one saved my life by physically pushing this other nurse away and giving me epinephrine). It must be so infuriating to not be able to do anything about it.

1, a man has a warrant out for his arrest. He is being charged with killing Thousands of birds including bald eagles and golden eagles.

The kidnapping, i doubt it is when there is a custody battle, unless there is prior information of an issue due to money. The fact that there is no ransom it leads me to think it's the custody battle. I can understand a sheriff stating they arrested so and so and the crime-- period! He stands there and adds all kinds of prejudicial and judgmental commentary, that is 100% inappropriate by LE to do when a person has not even gone to trial. How can you have a fair trial by doing this? This is wrong in every way, I am certain if you were ever arrested for anything, you would not want LE up there claiming yr guilt and polluting the minds of yr community and peers before you have ever gone to trial. Enough, that sheriff’s actions are atrocious and racist, since the majority of ppl he parades to humiliate are black!

@@itsjustmet1743 you are entitled to your opinion. Those records are public, by the way, so anyone can look people up and see they have been charged or booked into jail. He is not saying they are guilty. He is saying they were arrested for whatever. And don't place the race card here, you could be purple and he would treat you just the same. He cannot help what color someone's skin is, and quite honestly, it doesn't matter. You break the law, he's going to put you on front street. Don't watch it if you don't like it. I love the fact that he does this, because I feel that for low level or first time offenders, this could be considered as a deterrent against re-offending. He has done so much for his community, trying to keep people safe from people who would hurt them, steal from them, beat them, or even kill them. If you don't think that's right, then in MY opinion, you are wrong. There is not a shred of veracity in what you are saying.

Thank you so much for posting this video about the animal poisoning. I showed it to my daughter, she reminded me that many future murderers start out with animal cruelty. I don't know what type of nurse she was, but the nurse part is really scary. Sherriff Judd has been Sherriff of Polk county since 1972 and posts meeting for his citizens' awareness often. I live several counties away, and admire his hard work.

"A killing is a killing" I agree. I would hope people wouldn't stop with their compassion for animals with cats and dogs, but also extend it to all animals and stop eating them.
A good start would be now #veganuary ❤️

On the flip side, it infuriates me that entitled pet owners think that all the rest of us should be just fine with them allowing their little darlings to freely roam the neighborhood. Be a good pet owner and respect others' boundaries. Ive seen too many people who believe that the rest of the world is their personal pet park and the rest of us are just supposed to indulge them.

That's true, but that is no reason to kill animals. And also in this extreme cruel way. The pets are not at fault.

LOL you poor thing. Such stress over and animal, ahahahahaha. Most people like you automatically assume any loose animal is ALWAYS loose, when you don't know what you are talking about. But like the Sheriff said, talk to someone, but don't poison the innocent animals. I would like some of you with kids to keep your kids off my lawn and out of my driveway, even after being asked, because entitled parents think their darlings are "just being kids". Well they aren't, and fact is those dogs wandering are truly dogs, a gift from God, Kids, nope, bullies, just look at the schools.. but you all keep "petting" those little darlings. Those same spoiled bullying kids will be getting control of the parents houses, bank accounts and POA over them, toss them in a nursing home, taking the money and runny. That is todays kids. I will take the dogs and cats in my yard any day as opposed to the kids, whose parents you would have to sue to get paid if their kids broke anything on your property. That being said, everyone is going to answer to God and no one sin is greater than another, so keep that in mind when you decide that all pet owners are not responsible and or all loose pets are out all the time because of irresponsible pet owners.

@mariap.9240 True! Pets are innocent and don't understand boundaries. However, it is also the owner's responsibility to ensure that they don't roam around to places where they are not wanted, if only to protect them from such evil neighbors

Animal cruelty is worth prison time over here in the UK depending on the severity. If its neglect you get fined, if you have too many that you can't take care of them you get a ban for life, but if you hurt or kill an animal (pets, farm animals or protected wildlife) its a prison sentence.
