    I purchased the bottom and the filter. Should I run a filter top or a solid lid. It comes thru the hood and into a scoop. What are your thoughts on which way to go.

      We recommend running a solid top. It helps keep dirt out of the engine.

    Does it make a difference if the lid is totally flat on the underside or not? If I use a finned aluminum lid for looks Which has some ribbing for strength on the underside with this type of flat mini velocity stack will it be less efficient than a totally smooth / flat underside to the lid like you are showing here?

      We haven't seen a significant difference with various lids that are used, the base is the important part.

    This is nonsense. The filter is also miserable. The filter is 5" tall. Keep in mind what occurs when loading a filter with dramatically less area (shorter).
