Indeed, I think is the level of knowledge he has of the piece. He tends to study and follow the score as close as he thinks the composer intended, therefore not that much variation within his own interpretations.
@@christianjimenez2551 Krystian Zimerman is renewed every day, he is always studying each masterpiece, he is never stagnant. What you say makes no sense. For a reason Zimerman is considered one of the best pianists in the world and everyone can't be wrong. His musical knowledge is immense, much more than you can have.
