His Dark Materials is one of my favourite books ever, but I would totally rewrite it as well. There are just a couple things in the Amber Spyglass that I just don't love and would love to be able to change.
Chamber of Secrets rewrite the part where the pupils are supposedly going to bed after the Halloween feast yet Malfoy and the other Slytherins are heading upstairs to catch Harry, Ron and Hermione with a petrified Mrs Norris instead of heading downstairs to the dungeon.

Very first one and I completely agree. Grey Sister is my opinion the best of the three so def a reread.
I don’t agree with burning The Fifth Season...the writing isn’t for everyone but I’d rewrite the parts that make the book a bit confusing. The easy way out it would be. Burn that book because of the cringey sex scenes.
Burn the poppy war. I really liked it but it had issues. Reread Red Sister. Rewrite the order of the Phoenix. Another one we agree on.
Burn Dark Matter. I didn’t like it. Also rewrite The Long Walk for the ending.

I think you said "don't come at me with your pitchforks" but what I heard was "bitchforks" and honesty, that's gonna be my new catch phrase.
I love how at the start of almost every round Emily mumbles "shit..." You can see a peice of her heart die every time.
I don't know your opinion about The Stormlight Archive but I was shocked it wasn't in your favorite list.

I’d burn Warbreaker and I haven’t even read the Grey Sister (or any of the Sister books) 😂 I LOVE every other Sanderson I’ve read. Just not that one much. Also I could never burn a Harry Potter!!
Rebecca King you would enjoy the Book of the Ancestor trilogy. They are so good. Strong female protagonist, amazing and beautiful friendships, and amazing writing. I just read Holy Sister and I’m still in my feels.

Emily, you are my favorite booktuber, so I would like to recommend you the books from Eva Ibbotson. They are romance novels, but hear me out... The heroines in her books are not damsels in distress, there is no angsty romance nor abusive partners... Look for a youtuber called The Authentic Observer, she made a video about those books called "The Best Romance Writer Ever"- This author is now very well known, but she wrote true gems. Give them a try :)
I'm still surprised you loved the winner's curse. I enjoyed book one but gave up because of book 2, I just couldn't stand it anymore!!!
