Some mics need a LOT of gain - and not all preamps are up to the challenge. The DM1 DYNAMITE is an ultra-slim active inline preamp that fits seamlessly between your mic and mic pre, providing a massive +28dB of clean, transparent gain for all your dynamic and passive ribbon microphones - perfect for podcasting, recording, or live sound.
Reveal subtle nuances and unique sound characteristics with explosive gain and precise load control. Fine-tune the DM2 TNT with 8 customizable settings and more gain options than its predecessor, the acclaimed DM1 DYNAMITE. At the flick of a switch, choose between a moderate +15 dB or explosive +30 dB of clean, transparent extra gain to your mic. Then, dial in an unconventionally low 50 ohms to stunningly high 10 megaohms to find the sweet spot of any passive microphone. Enhancing all your dynamic and passive ribbon microphones - perfect for podcasting, recording, or live sound, the DM2 TNT.

Hello, how do I know which impedance is the best one?, is it level ? tone? , If I have a mic that is 160 ohms, do I set the DM2 around that number?
Sorry I no longer have this to check.
thank you for your video. are you able to plug the dm1 direct into the audio interface end instead of the microphone end? here I'm trying to do this but it doesn't work: just a lot of noise and the mic captures nothing. My setup is a SSL2+ and MV7 from shure. Mounting the dm1 straight into the MV7 is pretty ugly.
As far as I know mic end only.
Which one should i get for my shure sm7b for vocal recordings
I think the DM1 would be a good choice. Best check with the manufacturer too.
Wat does the load switch do? Does it work like eq
Sorry I no longer have this to check.
Very cool, I wonder if anyone makes something like this but turns a xlr mic into a USB mic.
Pretty sure I have seen them.
