St. Patrick's did well in an away game! And, just so you know, it was my dream to sing and play Wonderwall with a Manc (or a group of them). A few years back, I finally did. So, when I saw you singing it in Minnesota, I was moved. Loved this video. Please make more! If you could make one on Celta de Vigo (Celtic of Vigo), I would really appreciate it! They are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year and there is a popular song [watch video on RUclips: "C. Tangana - Oliveira Dos Cen Anos (Video Oficial)"] that was produced as part of the celebration!

So with Wonderwall, it's become a tradition to sing it after every Minnesota United win.
The tradition dates back to the time that they were in the US lower leagues where one of the former coaches was in a band at one point. After every win, he'd play songs on the guitar for the players in the locker room. A video leaked out to the supporters group of all the players singing along to that coach playing Wonderwall. After their next win, the supporters sang Wonderwall to the players and it's become a tradition now.

Our games are typically more lively. I promise 😬
I know it is not your primary sport, but the best game day experience in the United States is by far College Football. The fans are passionate, the history is rich with rivalries going back over a century, and the traditions are unique.
I would love to see you go to a Penn State White Out, Michigan vs Ohio State, or an Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn. You will not be disappointed. I’m talking stadiums with 115,000+ passionate fans. We also have a traveling TV show that hosts a big event at a different school each week called “College Gameday”.
Similar to football in Europe, there are also many small universities with small but loyal supporters and rich histories. No other sport in the US compares imo

One fun MLS tradition I recently found out about, the Vancouver Whitecaps chants after goals. They do the normal call and response of the goal scorers name, the announcer saying the first name, the crowd saying the last, but then the announcer says, “thank you” and the crowd says, “you’re welcome.” I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen anything more Canadian, and I am Canadian

Hey, Minnesotan here. Wonderwall is our victory song. We win, we sing. And let me tell you as someone who was at the St. Pats match and someone who goes to matches regularly, this doesn’t hold a candle to when the house is packed and 19,000 MN United fans are singing that song in unison. It’s incredible. And that’s from someone who admittedly is not a very big fan of that song lol 😂

As an Irish Minnesota Timberwolves fan, this was an appropriate first video of yours to watch. Great insight into St.Pats trip to Minnesota, you have a great way about your videos if this is to go by. Where I live in Ireland doesn't have a LOI team but I do appreciate the effort being made to give exposure to the league. I'd certainly love to see a game there and hopefully some day in Minnesota. Great choice of music too for the video! Naz Reid.

What a lovely video! Long time subscriber, wish I knew you were coming to that game. Coulda given you pointers of things to see and do around the Twin Cities. Although from the looks of it, you got around town just fine. Very different atmosphere for sure than what European stadiums are like. Minnesota is being known for being “Minnesota nice” though so I doubt you’d have the same experience in other places, like Philadelphia. And kit prices for sure are exorbitant, to be fair though that top was probably the one players wear on the field, the fan replicas are closer to 90 USD which is around the 70 quid mark you’re probably used to seeing.
Absolutely love the videos. Keep up the great work!

I love seeing games like this. Teams that would never (normally) play each other get a chance to play. I would love to see Atlanta United do something like this. Also, when Jake showed on the screen I thought he looked familiar. I did a little digging to refresh my memory and verify it. That is Jake Mulraney. He played for Atlanta United a few years ago. Very cool.

    This was a great video!
As a "Yank", a few observations:
    1. the fact that you were willing to visit Minnesota anytime other than June to August is a credit to your toughness.
    2. MLS is trying but it just hasn't gotten to the point of being tribal in this country. The only sports you will find that kind of suicidal dedication from Americans are college sports.
    3. American sports fans generally are polite to any team outside of the USA unless it is an international competition like World Cup qualifying.
Hope you enjoyed your trip to the USA!
