I've been to a lot of concerts by different artists from all over the world in my 71 years of life, and I've been to about 20 John Farnham concerts. I can honestly say that he is the best live artist I've ever seen, and his voice is the best voice I've ever heard. He's the only singer that I went to see in each of his concert tours multiple times. I couldn't get enough of him back then and it's still the same today. I scour RUclips every day looking for John Farnham content. I absolutely love the Chain Reaction concert. I think I went to this one four times lol. For me, our Farnsey has no equal on this planet.

I've seen him do it before but it continues to amaze me how John can run around the stage, jump up and down like a jack rabbit, bend down to take cards and flowers from the audience, and not miss a note while singing. Always perfect pitch. If you couldn't see what he was doing you would swear he was in a recording studio. 🤩🤩
Great reaction Torben, thankyou. Such a high energy song. It's one of my favourites of John's. Truth be told, John actually wrote the song but the other band members wanted a piece of the pie because they thought it would be a huge hit and pretty much muscled their way into claiming their contributions to the song. ❤

Yes and John had to leave because what he didn't know when he accepted their offer was that they were nearly broke....So it was a crushing blow to John who hated being away from his family and hardly made any money during that tiem. This is how John always wanted to sing....free to thrill the audience and collect some of the most talented musicians along the way who came to play and stayed for years lol. Love your channel my friend. Hoping one day you may check out another Aussie legend Guy Sebastian.

LRB ripped him off too, they never paid him for his time with them. Sad as LRB were great when Glenn Shorrick was with them in the 70's, they had some great harmonies and Glenn's voice is great. But nowhere near John's greatness!
