There is no cut/scarring on the skin. The eye does look very red post surgery which can take a while to fade. sometimes scarring can be seen on the white of the eye where the incision was made.

Hi Dr. I have a minor squint in my left eye , but i have also had a lazy eye in this one since childhood. When i was little i tried patching for many months and my lazy eye vision improved quiet a lot but the moment i stop the patching, it degardes back to very poor. @muskan6109 it's due to lazy eye. I had it from my childhood. It's good so far and its been almost 7yrs and still looks perfext. But even if it turns in future, I'll get another surgery. It's worth it.

Hi, squint surgery can be done at any age. Another alternative is botox injection. An assessment needs to be done though to make sure the procedure would not cause any other issues such as double vision. You need to see an orthoptist for an assessment.
