hey I too listen to heavy music but music like this, the blues, soul... it touches heart like no others
I heard this song the first time and became instantly addicted to it. It gives me goosbumps all the time I listen to It. The sad thing is that nobody among my friends and the people that I know likes It. So I miss the joy of sharing the emotion with somebody. Little late catching this video. Just wanted to say every part of your reaction was spot on. Couldn't have said it better. I grew up on rock and metal and then I stumbled onto SRV and that opened the door for me to the Blues, Soul, Jazz, and Funk. The Black Pumas capture so much of that here and play with a real passion. Love it and I enjoyed seeing your passion for it.

You would be so interesting to talk to about classic rock and metal like Led Zep, ect. Or funk and soul or even beginnings of rock. Or Blues.
I have been a Black Pumas fan since Biden's Inauguration where they played on the musical show that night and my jaw hit the floor.
I've read quite a bit about the group. The ladies are awesome. And favorites of the fans.
Eric is a rock Star. The face of the group and loved by the fans. He is a very nice guy and extremely talented. On stage he has great charisma and is quite the showman. He also has a set of pipes that blow people away. He wrote Colors 12 years ago when learning guitar. And as a busker he would sing it on the street corners. Until he met Adrian.
Adrian is the guitar player and a producer. A known and respected one in Austin and in the business. He also has a grammy under his belt.
The group formed in 2017.
They were nominated for 6 grammys and Colors was up for Song of the Year.
Just what i needed today, this was food for the soul. Soul, passion, so smooth and delicate and yet so powerful. Awsome 🙏🙏🙏 If you want progressive metal with a bluesy touch in one song, may i suggest a revisit to Evergrey with Black Undertow? Thats a little different than the one you reacted to, and yes you can crack some more jokes about Toms beard there also 😂👍😀
i love theis song and ive been watching reactions to it for a little while today (ur prob my 5th one in a row). this is the first time ive come across ur channel but right in the beginning of ur video i got a good vibe for you and minimized from full screen and went and kinda hovered over the suscribe button and kinda thought to myself about blindly suscribing just basically based on ur first few sentences about ur musical taste...but then i was like, "no, let me just practice not being so impulsive and at least watch some of the reaction first." About 35 seconds later i clicked on suscribe after u mentioned how you got to play and work the board at that same studio. as a musician and producer (hobbiest...not pro) myself...that, coupled with the good vibes i already had, was enough for me. now, at about 12 minutes as u are describing the small details about the background singers and saying how you want understand all the dynamics of all the other band members and how they are all invested, etc...i am more than impressed with my own ability to "pick em". i look forward to watching you react to other great music...and i look forward to seeing you react to the rest of this song. Im paused at 12 minutes in and ill end my long ass comment with this; if you think you love this song now...just wait!
