In my opinion it needed a better lock system between pieces in each combiner part and some stronger ratchets between some of the combiner parts.
I really like this set. It’s not without some complaints though. Many of the small things you pointed out can be missed if someone isn’t paying attention or not reading the instructions. (There’s some unintentional misleading vids out there.)The thighs and upper body figures are the most contentious components to me.

For the back of the waist the orange side faces out. That's the correct transformation and it will sit flush. Also you missed the side of the waist......the pieces flip up to get the V torso.
I wish they sell a replacement anime head with yellow eyes and grey face. And if possible extend the head flaps like g1 as an option
It needs hip knee and ankle ratchets replacement with ones with closer teeth. And that would fix the wobble.
I am probably one of the loudest proponents of partsforming, and this Raiden is probably one of the best examples as to why. He is so close to greatness, but falls short.
I dont know anything about this character but doesn't a train alt mode seem kinda... lazy? It's a rectangle. That's it. When are 5 trains going to be close enough to each other to combine to solve any problem? They're like Aquaman when he's not in the water. "Is the problem near a railroad crossing?" "No." "Nevermind then. The bad guy has outsmarted us again."
just the way this thing moves is one of the reasons i backed off on completing the set. i cant trust the stabillity
