Thanks Again!!! Развлечения
Kind of impressive that they pulled all 3 modes off relatively well.
I'd love for us to get a Legends scale set of Trainbots
Usually, I'm only really passionate about TFs that I have a nostalgic connection to but I'm finding myself more excited about this set than anything else right now.
Honestly wasn’t expecting these bots to be so good. They seem to be some of the best quality in a combiner I’ve seen in a while.
gotta say these trainbots look good , kinda wanting them
Popped at the "iron urn" call back from NRR
Gonna give some tips for the arms. If they feel tight on your copies, use WD40 (it’s like a spray lubricant for joints), and it’ll loosen them up a little to allow for smoother movement which will also almost eliminate the top part from undoing. For the legs. Whenever you move them, ONLY manipulate them in robot mode once all the crotch has been put together. This, from what I understand so far, prevents the legs from breaking internally as long as you are REALLY careful. In combine mode, always keep them straight until you have the other two combine legs on.
Thanks for the advice, it's appreciated 😁
Got mine yesterday. This video was a great help! Halfway there they already look amazing.
The combined hips are held together by tabs that flip out from the robot mode skirts.
*update: you figured it out.
Waiting on mine!!!! Love the review B. Stay Frosty my friend. ✌🏾♥️
Those locks for the hips are pretty small, I do wonder how they'll hold up to the forces on them when moving the legs.
They hold together very well when moving the legs. It’s amazing how much stability those little tabs provide. We will see if that changes as the combiner progresses
I'm keeping him in pants mode!!
Nice to see some objective criticism and reliable reviewing. So many of the various online posts and forum discussions seem full of people, who despite claims of being lifelong TF fans and collectors, couldn't seem to figure out the correct transformation and pegging, and instead went on outlandish rants about how floppy and poorly engineered this figure was, but the buyers who could actually figure out the proper transformation all seemed to really love it, though.
* looks at TFW2005 *
@@adrianli7559 I mean, it's certainly not unique to that site, but they do seem to be the loudest echo chamber, IMO.
“Well that’s gone for good…” lol
It’s a go for me if Bobby doesn’t get frustrated
Amazing set so far I’m impressed and love them
Cool toy, and it looks good though Bobby.
VERY glad I watched this to see you spin those two little pieces at the top of the calves to tab into the knee. I hadn't done that and my legs were a floppy mess. I was relying on the instructions to get him to bot mode and they are a mess. Also, my hip ratchets are SCARY tight. I don't know about those things. I'm sure I'll be grateful for it when it's all combined.
Lol, mine broke. I bought two of the darn things and now they are sold out everywhere!! It was such a poor design choice to use such a small pin to try and hold all that pressure in place.
Nice! The backpack is actually supposed to sit higher up with the bottom tabs of the backpack tabbing onto the upper tab slots of the bots back. Weird decision but 🤷🏽♂️ glad we got em.
I'm looking forward to the completed Raiden being on the list of Bobby's top TFs of the year for 2022. It's magnificent and uses little partsforming (and I generally prefer partsforming)
Agree 100% of what u mentioned in the review, for it to pull off 3 modes this way, there has to be some sacrifices and for what it's worth they've done a great job. Really looking forward to the rest of this set and even more looking forward to watch your review for them. One minor detail is that it actually has a small piece that flips out to cover the hole at the front of the train where the foot pivots out.
They are looking amazing so far. Considering what they have to pull off, they are blowing me away
Great review my brother!!!! I'm waiting on the last three to complete my set Takara take notes !!!
Really appreciate the shout out!
I appreciate you taking the time to make and post this video, it looks like a bear to put together. Great job as always!
This guy has a lot of panels, but one think I like is that most of the panels are substantial. Most of them are double-thick so it doesn't feel like you're manipulating fragile paper-thin sheets of plastic that are gonna crumble between your fingers.
Thick as bricks.
Which version of Superion did you compare with? I’ll
Hey bobby the Trains work on Lego tracks and with lego Magnetconnectors..... Great. Have a nice christmastreetrain
Yikers Island! Transformation to train mode reminds me of FansProject Motor Master. Bot to pants (and back) doesn't seem too bad. I think I'm good with 5 trains in the collection. I don't need this one to get to train
Omg!! Lol 😹 that's funny at the end 🤣.. as always great review!!
When a figure's gun is larger than an IRL gun... O.O
honestly i’ve had the train bots since they came out and i finally attempted getting this one to train mode, as the others are there, but it’s currently exploded and i’m currently stuck at 26:24.. every video makes it look so ez.. “that peg to that tab” it just doesn’t work even close to reach on mine and i feel like i’m gonna break it if i try any more. plus there’s a million panels flopping around fighting you the entire time it’s pissing me off
Well done my friend. Another 1 of many underneath your belt. As complexed as it is , I appreciate your vid’s. But if you think about it we’ve been dealing with combiners as cars, planes , animals, construction vehicles, for years, hell decades. For trains it pulled off WELL, thank you for your time Bobby
"I should be able to do that a lot easier"- The unofficial slogan of all 3p transformations :D
That actually went smoother for Bobby than me. Mine has a few additional tolerance issues on top of all the ones highlighted here.
Panelrama! Essentially it's a triple changer, I can't complain!
Grrrrrrr everything i see on these makes me wanna just give in and buy them...DAMMIT! Lol
Fanstoys needs to take a page out of Moon Studio’s book and learn how to crank a combiner out this quickly. I hope this company keeps them coming, we aren’t getting any younger out here.
Unfortunately it’s too late to take all that Diecast out lol
@@MythsAndHeroes I'm hoping FT hasn't reached a dead end on their combiners,ha ha. I would be happy with just the figure to be honest.
I 100% agree with your critics.
Thanks for the review Mr. Skullface
P.S. You haven't reviewed NA Mirage, I would like to hear your opinion about it.
I am so glad the robot mode knee joints are not the combined mode knee joints
Am I the only one who hates the Moon Studio hands?
Not the combiner mode hands but the single bot mode hands.
The thumb is missing two articulation points and the rest of the fingers are all missing one articulation point.
You can't make a proper fist or a proper gun grabbing hand, the thumb needs at least another articulation point.
I really hate them.
Transforming it reminded me of all the panel work involved in FT Motormaster. I liked this release, though I confess once I got him to bot mode I was like "nah" to trying train mode.
I'm really jonesing for these bots but promised myself I'd hold out for the inevitable giftset, hope it pays off.
AARON, EARNED, AN IRON, URN
I’m very surprised this didn’t frustrate the shit out of you. Just with the time commitment alone. But yeah, all three modes are decent. Them some big boy pants, Mac!
Maybe bc I was just coming off that Megatron lol
got this guy a couple weeks back and he's easily in my top 10 favorite figures. the bot mode looks so dynamic, the transformations are a blast, and the combined mode is SOLID. couldn't be more excited to finish Raiden, each new piece just raises my expectations
Panel.
Do you think this doesn't have parts forming because this combiner was six bots and the other combiners are 5 so they need the extra pieces. Where as this combiner has six bots and one will just have to suffer a little and do the heavy lifting for the combine mold.
Great review Maybe were get this in legends scale and I would love to pick it up then just like the zeta superion.
I think the backpack is supposed to sit higher. If you look at the toon model, it stands way above his head
He looks great. Not what I'd call intuitive, unfortunately. It's neat that Zeta seem to have made it an all-in-one combiner (and potentially beat MMC at their own game), but I think the parts-forming hips would probably have made Kaen a lot less of a fiddly mess.
Still, the set looks great. I haven't decided yet if I should wait for the inevitable box set or buy the individuals. Unlike their last sets, these probably won't get lots of extra paint in a box set, but they might get some other refinements. Hard to say for sure.
If the display isn't a train station we riot.
And i thought Studio Cell Unicron had a lot of flaps lol. As someone who doesn't own it seems like a ridiculous amount of them and armatures to get everything done.
He has tabs on the bottom of his crotch that swing out and latch onto the hip joints themself
I haven't got this one in hand yet.
I was a bit apprehensive about this bot but after watching this, the excitement has returned.
Great review.

My Raiden custom train tracks is coming on Friday. So excited. Eg. Lego does not work.
I went full monty once.....
Full as those DSLs am I right!?!
Looks good but too big
Just get worried from seeing the arm joints on the combiner
Bobby-40-Minute-Video-Face
he looks nice, but man that transformation is the typical toyworld/zeta nightmare...
Another 40+ minute video?? Must be that unedited Patreon content
00:50 - A flim flarin-flarin film!
The wheels are called 'trucks' because... um... trains?
Certainly the nicest of the 3 so far, I'm probably being biased as it's in Harley Davidson racing colours! I do like the bot, train and body mode, shame the others don't match the style or aesthetic in my opinion, the robot's head should be its own entity and not look like a 'flipped up panel'! It's like Motormaster syndrome or something, not a fan of that 'lazy design' look.
Panel-rama SSF.
BEWARE I bought two of these things because the pin which holds the ratchet and entire leg together is so weak!! Not impressed by design, EXTREMELY fragile! It’s ruined the collection for me entirely.
These trainbots are driving me nuts. They are so good and rather than pumping more combiners out Zeta is busy wasting my time of Bay Film toys and legends class nonsense. Stick to your lane boys and own the roads!
Surprise you didn’t say the paint as a critic. All the paint not the black desperately needs a second coat
I think that this tried but failed in my opinion to copy the MMC Bruticus set. A non partsforming and heavy panelforming combiner.
To me this is leagues better structure and stability wise but I agree engineering wise. MMC has always had the best engineering
@@PSYCHOWORLD I know that Bobby's was very unstable and for a huge combiner that's a huge problem, but I haven't heard many people have this issue, it's very rare. And this latest release that dropped a couple of months ago they took notice and fixed it in every copy.
He looks cool, just like the other bots in the set. I just have no interest or knowledge of the characters. The trains do look nice, but then again they are just trains. I know this will be a big hit in Japan, but its a hard pass for me and a lot of others I bet.
