Zombies maps of old used to have radios that would play messages that told the story of the map you were playing on. Some of these radios are horrifying. In this video I will show you some of these radios from the maps "Der Riese," "TranZit," and "Die Rise."

I was today years old when I learned that there's a character in the zombies storyline named Jackass Flats... Tranzit is truly the map of all time.
😂😂 Indeed. Honestly, Zelinski did make a really cool, horrifying world with TranZit, Die Rise, and Buried. It’s just a shame that 2/3rds of those maps are bad, and the main characters within are annoying
@@Det_Somerset For sure. Honestly Die Rise is one of the most slept on "scary" maps. On the surface level it doesn't seem very scary since it's in broad daylight and there's nothing about it that screams horror, but I find Die Rise to have one of the darkest and most depressing atmospheres in all of zombies when played solo. It's abandoned, you're essentially trapped on these impossibly tall skyscrapers with no hope of escape, the tvs are super unsettling, the background ambience is creepy, the intro music is one of the scariest ever imo, and hearing all of the zombie voices while playing as Stuhlinger is very uncomfortable.

@@Det_Somerset This video was awesome though. Brings me back to the days when BO1 was the newest zombies game and me and all my friends would watch storyline videos and theorize about it. Plus a lot of what you're showing in these videos is stuff I either forgot or never knew to begin with and it really shows just how fascinating the zombies storyline was before Blundell took over. I love Blundell, but I much prefered Jimmy Z's approach to the story with Waw, BO1, and his BO2 maps.
I forgot these radios existed! The first George Barkley radio where he reveals he succumbed to paranoia gives me chills. It's a shame they focused more on the mystical instead of the mysterious about zombies since black ops 3
I agree. I’m really into the story that Blundell took us with BO3 and BO4, but there was something special about the post-apocalyptic storyline that Zelinski was taking us through
