Yeah his angst is deep but it puts him closer to God with Geordie as guardian angel. She almost overplays it but not quite!

I actually liked it. I lost my wife a year ago and had so much guilt. So this season really hit me personally and helped me. I guess everyone is going through different things in life. Maybe if you experience such a thing later you will get it more.

Put this series out of its misery, please! Awful scripts are poorly written, though the actors are superb. Should have been mercy-killed after Season 4. In fairness, nearly all PBS series in 2023 were unappealing except Endeavour, DI Ray, and the series about the young Marie Antoinette - my opinion only.
