Lower Antelope Canyon is pretty awesome too... I don't know about the crowds now, but in June 2013, we went there and bought tickets then, no need for advanced tickets. The tours there are also guided, it's on Indian land, so they run the operation.
Love the campsite! Our Labrador retriever would love that lake. The hikes and the parks will have to wait until we don’t have our dog... We went to Jerome years ago & enjoyed it! Love the Day of The Dead part - we had our boat in Mexico and went to a Day of The Dead celebration in La Paz - so interesting!
Yeah the only Natl Park we've come across that was sudo dog friendly was Bryce Canyon. There aloud on the upper rim trail & that's it though. Dia De Los Muertos was really fun! I bet experiencing it in Mexico was AMAZING! - Dennis
Glad they're informative! We hope you enjoy and learn when you watch! Heck we wish we knew all this info before we went to these places... We learn as we go. - Liz
Hey, great video! My wife and I lived in Pinellas Park, Fl for more than 30 years. We will be hitting the road this summer! Look forward to meeting you all somewhere someday.
Great video and channel , fellow Floridian here soon to hit the road full time with my girlfriend in our class A , hope to see you on the road someday , keep the great videos coming 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 . safe travels
Glad you enjoyed it Mike! If you're planning on heading out there anytime in the next year, call to verify that they are giving tours before arriving. Antelope canyon is on Native Nations land and may be closed to the public. We need up and went to Moment Valley without checking and it was closed. Doh! - Dennis 🤦
Hi Mom! What happens when frogs park illegally? They get Toad! Thanks for the tip on the tour companies that tour the canyons. Lunch looked easy, nice suggestion.
I would say around the time we were there, mid to late October. The weather was beautiful & the campground wasn't crowded at all! Hope this helps - Dennis ✌️
I see, sorry! We were the first tour in there not sure exactly what time? Maybe 9 am? Dennis gives tips on the best time to go for lighting but pros and cons of the earliest time (like us) and later times in the video! Hope that helps. - Liz
Eat See RV Both and I did the photography tour too. Lower was better but no photography tours allowed there anymore because the bigger groups bring in more money. The canyon tour is owned by a brother and a sister who do. It get along and compete and run 100% of the tours. The natives are the only ones hired to run the tours but the competitive siblings give lots of there millions to the natives for college and other more essentials and it seems to be satisfying to them, they said.
I hope you realize that most people don't intentionally litter. Sudden wind is the likely culprit sweeping things away. Think before you start pointing fingers and assign blame. Preaching with a holier than thou attitude is just as disgusting as the trash you picked up. But thanks for cleaning up. I do the same knowing that it just happens.
Interesting reply. I think it's half and half. We've cleaned up trash bags full of litter at campgrounds. Glad to hear that you're doing your part to clean up even if you didn't leave the mess though!
Class of '85 from Page here. The parties we had at Lone Rock before tourists screwed it up?! Nice video

Great video! We'll be checking out Lone Rock Beach in a few weeks!

We sold that in 2019 and have moved into a class C. It was too big for us. Hope you enjoy yours! - Liz
Great video and trip!
Thank you!
Hi Mom! What happens when frogs park illegally? They get Toad! Thanks for the tip on the tour companies that tour the canyons. Lunch looked easy, nice suggestion.

Those plates are gorgeous 😍 where did you get them? Are they plastic?
Thank you! No they are ceramic. They're our plates we got from our wedding and I found them on etsy. We love them! - Liz
Blowout and 5th wheel damage. Pee your pants? Scary I bet. Love your videos.
Haha thank you Doug! That was by no means our first blow out, so we were pretty calm (ish). Thanks for watching - Liz
How do you book a site there? Do they allow tent camping at Lone Rock?
It's first come, first served. I'm pretty sure you can tent camp. - Dennis
