As someone who played and loved all the games; I somehow missed what happened to Bill, I was really hoping he would make it out alive, this was such a great but also sad ending. Bill really seemed to be the only descent person in Rapture. Thank you for uploading these and great work, It was a roller-coaster of emotions.
You are awesome, I just finished part two last night and was dying for more. This is actually a really enjoyable novel, and the added soundscape effects are definitely a welcome addition.
So awesome to be able to put faces to all these characters from game knowledge. The book is written exceptionally well also. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks
Honestly, this reading has left me with so many what-ifs that it delights me to my core. Not to mention just imagining what life in Rapture would have looked like before the Civil War. How the book describes how people look, the cultures of the different groups within Rapture, the various figureheads of the groups in Rapture, etc... It all works to create a stunning work that allows you to imagine any part of the setting. Personally, I'm a fan of the scene of Bill and the others at the Fighting McDonagh set during Christmas Eve. It really makes you feel for the guys working as Rapture's "Police" force, who're one of the greatest ironies. Ryan detested the idea of big government interference, yet still had a sizable police force that was made to do EXACTLY as he ordered. These guys, Sullivan included, were just regular people, forced to take sides in a war that should've never come to pass and that nobody will know about save for a few people that lived through it. You honestly feel for the city as much as the characters, as you read more and more about how the city begins to break down as the situation gets worse and worse. All in all? This book is wonderful and I hope to own and read it some day. For now though? I'll just listen to it on RUclips to fall asleep to. The narrator's voice is rather soothing, and the ambience in the background really helps with the immersion as I fall asleep.
I never knew there any bioshock books. Now you got me saving auduobooks and audio dramas. Thankyou for uploading its always awesome seeing the myriad of Lore I am familiar having books and the like made for a deeper look into it 😊
I like how nobody actually likes Cohen but Ryan. Like every time he shows up everyone but Ryan is like “good god you’re still around?!” They are so sick of him and his bullshit. Bill has that rdr2 loyalty to Ryan. This writer is very good, somehow they made me like frank. He’s a great bad guy. Also delta! Best metal dad ever!
I enjoyed this but John Shirley did not do this series justice.. Each part legit could have been it's own book.. So many characters that could have had their stories more drawn out.. Who wouldn't want to know all of steinmanns story? Cohen?? The relationships between the characters??
I’m sorry but Billie is the biggest coward‼️😡 Humans can be so weak. No one wants to be there but yet so willing to look away and stay. Ryan hated the world system and God yet thought he was a God. Good listen but just pissed me off‼️🤬🤬🤬🤬SUCH COWARDS

I would totally watch full a tv/streaming series based on this book alone. This is such great writing and world building.
No offense, but I hope that never happens. It's good as it is.
Netflix has the rights and they’re making a series, so I hear.

My kids love playing the game and i love this series of books. Great job!
Bill, Elaine & Sophies story is a real heart breaker.
Been listening to this all week in work, really enjoyable
What a world Irational made with Rapture
Same here 😂
I was not ready for that new years count down voice
I hate reading and books , but love the games and I'm super fascinated with the world of Rapture. These were awesome 👍 I was listening while I worked
Love the lore of Bioshock.

Groundbreaking update to a great service
I think Bill is my favorite character now haha
Listening to this while building rapture in minecraft, the true vibe
That one Cohen chapter with The Human Condition art piece was on some 40k levels of fucked.
Sander Cohen: slaanesh’s very first devotee
Thanks for the upload. Loved this story
I'm totally gonna replay Bioshock 1 after this!
I’m going to play it with my granddaughter, she’s old enough now
They got my boy Bill 💔
Awesome story, enjoyed it thanks.
I hope some of this makes it into the movie, especially the new years bombing.
Bill could easily be the protagonist of Rapture
Great story, good narration. I would've liked to have seen Rapture, but not live there :)

Nicely done man, props to you!
Steinman is the worst, imo. Captivating in such an inhumane way
around 58:17 oh look the basis for Face off!
Face off was filmed long before this game and this novel
I have not played the game but this book is awesome
Try it and let us know. Book is full of spoilers, but still- try the game.
Thanks for reading!
So the book has the teleport plasmid? Damn
The original game has ads for it on the walls if you look, just was cut due to technical limitations
They could not make it work on Xbox & ps3 so it was cut, bioshock 2 dlc on ps3 had it

“Yippie ti yi yo!” Too bad this wasn’t in the game.

excellent work, but your irish accent could use some work lol
And in this portion the city eats itself alive
Ain't life at the bottom of the sea grand?
Atlas sounds like he works at the Kwik-E-Mart in this one, the narrator isn't the best at accents...
It's good. He's really having a hard time with the Irish accent though.
