That's an absolute cracking deal for £110. I've always liked this Grand Touring. It's got a very nice bracelet too. My only gripe would be the orange minute hand. I'm not a huge fan of coloured minute hands. But this one does look nice with a pop of colour. Love the bezel too.
Just saw your video. I JUST bought a Signature Collection NB00440-59A model on ebay for $500Cdn having only seen it on youtubes & photos. I can see the family resemblance of this group of Citizen watches all sharing incredible attention to detail in every aspect of the watch ( case, bracelet, dial, movement). There is absolutely no competitor back in 2012 that matched this collection when it came to quality & value for the$
Loved the review, I own this time piece and just love it. One thing not mentioned, wearing the watch is incredibly comfortable. Feels great and doesn't feel as large on the wrist.
I think you should replace the bezel. Worth the pay. You’ll have a beautiful looking watch with no scratch and got it for a fair price. I’m looking into purchasing one myself.
I think it’s a great looking watch. You will get many years of pleasure from owning this beauty! If it were me I don’t think I would replace the bezel. If i purchased the watch without the scratch/mark on the bezel and it then the bezel was scratched, I would be really bummed and might be inclined to replace the bezel. However, since you purchased the watch with the scratch on the bezel, i would just let it go and not worry about it. If you were to replace the bezel, you would probably be so cautious with the watch, it might interfere with the pleasure you derive from owning the watch. Hope this makes sense. I think you purchased a real beauty! Nice job!
Ed F It makes total sense, I tend to baby my watches and dread the day that I might scratch one up. Obviously that worry is gone with this watch as the damage is done, saying that there are times when I can’t even see the scratch, with the macro I can see blemishes on the crystal and all manner of other marks that you can’t see with the naked eye. My only thought is that replacing the bezel is relatively cheap and the watch after repair is still a steal, however there’s every chance I could bang it up a week later.
I’m glad my comments made ‘some’ sense...LOL...interestingly, after watching your video and posting my comment I went to the Citizen website to learn more about this watch. I read several of the reviews posted on Citizen’s website and one reviewer complained as to how he had scratched the bezel and thought that the bezel should be more scratch resistant. As you mention, you can replace the bezel for a reasonable amount of money and still be ahead of the game. I think Citizen is discounting the watch a bit, however; its still around $1,000 U. S. Dollars. You have a great looking watch and got a great deal on your purchase. Enjoy!
I absolutely love this watch, and would not hesitate to buy except for its size. If it was 40-42 mm and without the crown guard as you suggest it would be a strong contender. I also wish as much as I love citizen that they would improve their lume to the standard of seiko. Personally I much prefer citizen watches, but as reliable mechanical movements and the lume quality of seiko, and you just could not go wrong. Awesome video by the way 😁👍
This is a beautiful watch and I have no problem with the 44mm diameter. That said, would I buy it? No. The case is much too thick. It is overall very heavy and I just don't get the crown guards. Anyway, I did enjoy your review.
i picked up the non-diver version of this watch back in 2014. Both the case and lug to lug dimensions are about 2 mm shorter. It fits my 6.3" wrist just fine. The "9012" movement has been running a steady +1.5s/d. Although it is over 2 years old and has accumulated a good amount of scratches on both the case and the brushed bezel, the movement appears to show no signs of aging!
The 10 second fast in 24 hours is. It the movements fault. It was not timed at the factory so it will be 10 seconds fast consistently. The ETA 2824 is one second fast because it was adjusted to be so. Not a reflection of this awesome movement
Hello friend .. I have a question and I hope you can help me. I just got this citizen grand touring sport. What tool or screwdriver size is needed to remove the pins and adjust the bracelet of this watch. thanks and regards.
Had the Black-Bronze version of this watch and I must admit that I was disappointed with the quality and sold it after 6 months. The Miyota movement was really inaccurate (+15-20 per day), the winding itself felt ship, the bronze coating on the bracelet started to peel off, the clasp was very cheap and felt insecure, the bezel was only 60 clicks and felt pretty cheap and the list continues. I was very excited to get this one but was even more excited to get rid of it..
Replace the Bezel only if you intend to sell it then increase your asking price to cover it. If you want to keep it and the scratch on the bezel doesn't annoy you why replace it. Just be aware that the longer you have the watch to more the replacement cost for the bezel is likely to increase.
If it's a keeper and you wear it then fix it. If you don't wear it....then maybe no. I would think at some point it will be harder to get replacement parts.
I just ordered this watch after lusting after it for years! Excellent review!
much underrated and unseen

Like you, I love this watch and it really is quality on the wrist
Looks awesome. I would not bother with the bezel.
Love it. These signature watches have superb anti reflection glass almost like none at all. I sometimes miss my Signature Courageous.
Pretty much invisible glass
I thought that my citizen promaster tough from tk maxx I Newcastle was a bargain at 150 but this is something else!
Always keep your eyes peeled for a bargain

Good luck I hear theyre getting scarce
That is really, really nice. Actually looks quite like an Edox Hydro-Sub.
Thats a new brand for me, I see the resemblance
@@LastWatch Thsts what I thought your Citizen was, at first. It's like an Edox lite.
raksh9 lite on price

This watch has surprised me more than any other

Fantastic watch, I may need to get mine regulated
I have it brand new!!!! But I wear the black dial w/ rose gold
almost a root beer... enjoy
110 pounds woah. And here I'm thinking about getting it for 800 lol.
Shop around, you should be able to save a couple of hundred on that

Might be worth a tweak but I'd rather be 10 seconds fast than slow

Very true
Noice watch mate
Where can I buy it???
Ebay might be your only hope, they are pretty much sold out
Awesome watch. I’d 100% repair that bezel, you’ve still got crazy good value.
I got a real gem with this one
You lucky guy, you stole that
Sam Dawson It certainly feels that way

John Kim it is
It looks like they are selling for $500-1000
Jon O I got a bargain
Oh dear

Nice looking, but if you buy a Citizen, don't buy automatic.
