Am i crazy or is the thought that preds are like samurai and aliens are ninjas? Like preds fight with honour and stand in middle of fight and aliens be abit more sly and lurky, jumping fools and suprise attacks.

You can try Ghost Recon Wildlands, you can also hunt down Predator in that game and take its mask, weapon. That game is open world, pretty big. And fun.
@Thomas Power primal hunt was dope. My lame computer could barely handle those games tho. The cut scenes were choppy as hell lol
It might hurt more but it technically easier to get the baby alien in there since they cant fully close their mouths like us
The main characters in this game are so op like Dark was able to take down a queen's guard and predalien alone which even elite predators would struggle against. Six was able to take down an elite predator and group of marines and I think he's probably the smartest xenomorph in existence. Rookie is also insane, a lone human against hordes of aliens and predators and actually survived to tell the tale.
It's all because it's the player behind the mask.

as i recall the SECOND mission in Rookie's campaign was also putting the queen herself to the torch, i mean yeah they did the heavy lifting by nesting around that many explosive stuff but still.
I like how the Predator campaign doesn't really end. It's more like "The hunt continues..."

This game was actually very fun. I loved the multiplayer, I shredded people as the Predator lol
Andy Paris bet in my prime playing days I could give you a run for your money as the Alien, at least let you know I was there
Multiplayer was such an unfair task for marine players that I decided to (try) main them. It turns out they were seriously op if you knew your weapons.
@@Peusterokos1 definitely. I once thrashed a predator and two aliens in a 3v1 in a ranked match, lol. Pulse rifle grenades were stupid op with stagger and great damage, then just mop up with main fire.
There were definitely issues with multiplayer though. I thought aliens were weakest race, with their best ability being that "wall-heavy-tail-attack" in which the victim is perpetually stun locked to death.

I remember when I got this game and being so surprised at how good it was . Playing as predator felt so fluid and epic . The game gives you plenty of options and weapons , not to mention the near perfect jumping system . Sweet game .
pain doing the marine missions though. Damn good game, still play it to this day(actually redone the predator campaign last week)

He did it because it was one of the first kills in a xenomorph hunt and he threw it down the steps to symbolically show that it was an honorable and triumphant hunt

@Cheeki Breeki Online was trash. Predators were OP asf with their oneshot tracking projectiles. Sometimes you can still find a server or two alive but it's just like 10 preds vs 5 aliens and marines mixed.

I want some kind of RPG predator game where you can travel to different planets through the galaxy hunting many different creatures, upgrading your gear and spaceships and others vehicles, costume your predator, and also able to make your own clan for the multiplayer and fight against others.
Try mass effect series but don't try the 4

I loved this game. Personally in my opinion, the Marine was the most entertaining and suspenseful storyline. The Alien was the most fun to play and the Predator has the best ending.
My guy became clan leader in 10 minutes.

Yes but the difference being that the dlc wasn't marketed down peoples throats and this game had good full content on release.

A DLC is also bad...if they do it wrong and charge you WAAAY more than the amount than it should be.... KH III Remind comes to mind. HEre beat all the Data ORg. XII for the MILLIONTH TIME!!! @@matthewcrane5294 DLC and micro transaction - are just bloody awful, really do not want to rant and swear(really hard not too). We pay what on average £50 for a damn game, and with in a month - DLC, oh new maps, oh new skins, new weapons new this and that - seriously expect to to believe this shit wasn't already completed with the ''normal'' game. This is why I never buy a game when it first comes out, I wait 6 months, and buy it 2nd hand.
Now if all the dlc was in the ''normal'' game, most prob would buy it as it was released, but the con they have turned games into, the blatant cash grab, nah F that. And never ever ever buy micro shit transaction, never.

@@szynkers Yes, what I saw in AVP 2 was much more content than what I saw here in 2010 AVP. This game seriously lacked real content, it's game engine was bad and the story was too short and sometimes was only about kill, kill, kill without any real destination.

They put effort into it more back then, nowadays it's more about graphics and satisfying everyone's desire even though they can't. Some new games have alot of contents too, but most of them is not open to experimenting and it just makes it worse.
0:15 the facehugger slowly approaching instead of racing in for the kill gets under my skin more than I'd like to admit.
This was such a damn amazing game. I really wish I could experience playing it for the first time again. Those Predator executions were *chefs kiss* Made you feel like the ultimate badass.
set myself a challenge, to do each pred mission, doing only those kills. Failed but was a lot of fun trying.

@rianmacdonald9454 Sounds like a helluva fun time trying though. That's what kept me coming back to this game many times. We can only hope they make another much like this one. It'd be amazing. Granted they did a left 4 dead type version not long ago which was pretty good.

This game was beyond its time. Cutscene, graphics and animation wise.

@@IKillCops4Fun Well I played it on the PC because this was back when the game itself was losing players (it was just getting old) and it was on Steam for free at the time. So I didn't have to go to a game store and buy a used copy that might bug out or not.

Fun fact: The easiest way to beat that mission is to spam all your mines in front of you when you spawn and then hit it with whatever weapon you want

This was the first game I ever got on my Xbox 360, and to this day remains as one of my top 10 games ever! If they ever made a sequel to this that had more customization and a more open world, I would buy it in a heartbeat, but a man can only dream😢

This game was actually my introduction to online multiplayer games.
A good way of dealing with the PRedalien on nightmare difficulty, is to run around the first section in a circle, just throwing mines on the floor, and let the predalien run into them behind you, taken 3/4 of its health before the first cut scene, then in the little alcove at the end, 5 traps on floor where it jumps in, so it literally hits all mines in one go, as it starts it jump, lock the plasma caster on to it, but only fire when it lands, then switch to disk, throw the disk at it, straight after you throw the disk, switch to spear, throw that at it.
I killed the predalien on highest difficulty with out being hit once, was a hell of a lot easier than I thought. Tried this tactic many times, and the mines work amazingly.

AvP gets more flak than it deserves, the game is pretty good and is _far_ better than every movie apart from 1 and _maybe_ Predators (2010(?)

Oh it gets better, Aliens Colonial Marines had staff and funding taken away in order to make Borderlands 2, But that's not the kicker, recently it's been discovered that CEO of Gearbox Randy Pitchford pocketed 12 million for himself without telling anyone,
Now this was done during the pre-production of Borderlands 2, And that's money that should have gone to ACM and that would have made such a difference,
Possibly leading to the hiring of more competent personnel to make and polish the game instead of outsourcing it to the now bankrupt Timegate Studios who were utterly incapable of handling this.
@@DepravedMorgath Its a shame to, the new alien isolation mobile spinoff looks they are determined to kill off alien games though, Isolation was actually a good game, was hoping to see a Dev pick up a game based on the first AVP movie or even the Predators movie

Oh, but instead of something big like a sequel or a new franchise, It ends up being just another trash mobile game, Command and Conquer: Rivals, Diablo Immortal, and now Alien Blackout, I mean seriously is there something wrong with the dev's heads or something?
Just look how quickly people turn on them as soon as they say it's for mobile during these live streams, it only takes seconds after it sinks in for the fans.
It only works if it's released alongside a proper video game release, for example South Park phone destroyer when Fractured but whole was made.

I remember playing this game in college and I absolutely love it . I’ll definitely play it again at my cabin or on my ps5 . playing as predator and the xenomorph are my favorite character. The movies are still awesome

Over 10 years ago, this was my very first Steam game.
Hmm, you're right. It got released in 2010, but I have the 10 year steam badge. And I joined steam to buy this game. Weird.
I used the Smart disc on the Predalien and it worked really well. Then caster to hit the platforms to make it fall in the lava.

Remember booting this game up on the PS3 everyday after school 😭😭😭..... Man I loved this game the preorder was dope campaign was pretty good on all 3 sides and the multiplayer player was so fun 😂😂. The finishing moves where so satisfying and it was always funny seeing trains of finishing moves being ran if you played the game you already know 😂...

This game was amazing had it for the 360 and definitely one I played for hours on end predator was pretty overpowered tho but in a way it made sense so I never got salty and the different aliens/marines/predators you could be was pretty awesome too and the campaigns were really good as well overall just a great game and I hope they make another one like this, this a game that builds and improves upon the comics and movies well
I'm pretty sure the predator masks also have the role of avoiding alien impregnation. As in, aliens shouldn't know how to take it off.
