The innovation started with Sig Sauer. The Sig P320 was the first handgun to use a modular fire control unit - and it looks like this is Springfield's competing offering. Excited to see what comes next.
I'm really impressed when comparing this to a P320: - Multi-mount Red Dot Support (I'm very curious on the list of 30 supported optics) - Suppressor height Red Dot mount - Super low bore axis like a glock (man, the P320 has super high bore axis) I think they have a real winner here.
A lot safer than the P320 as well. At least this won't AD into your femoral artery holstered and you won't have to worry about it discharging when it's dropped.
Intrigued. I like how it's interchangeable with grip sizes and has a 17+1 round mag, like the Sig P365X Macro. The ambi idea is nice too. Well thought out.
