Sir, is it not possible that ADA design a manned stealth fighter almost similar in design with DRDO AURA, just a little bigger and with 4 Ghatak Engine which could be later updated with 4 Non-Afterburning version of AMCA's hybrid engine? If build this fighter could have same config as of F-114 Nighthawk and Sukhoi SU-34 and this aircraft could be our Light Strategic Bomber-cum fighter . I personally think ADA should be building this stealth fighter instead of ORCA/TEDBF (ORCA/TEDBF requirment can be completed by AMCA alone).

Very informative video about thrust vectoring and its effect on stealth characteristics. While on the subject it will be prudent to see what was done in YF 23 for stealth. YF 23 worked on principal of Radar waves evasion unlike YF 22 which worked on principal of radar waves deflection, diffraction and absorption. YF 23 didn't have thrust vectoring but pelican tails. We may consider this for our Ghatak and AMCA. Thanx.
Ghatak AURA UCAV don't need TVC at all! It's a simple AI pilotted unmanned UCAV to fly upto Beijing Peking and drop nukes or EMP Neutron bombs as suicide missions also. So, it needs 100% stealthy design and smokeless lowest IR and lowest heat signature emissions and low noise also!

F22 Raptors are powered from Pratt and Whitney F119 twin Engines. Each of them capable of generating dry thrust of 116 kN and 156 kN with afterburner. The thrust to wieght ratio is 6.7:1 in dry state... Hence Raptors are able to super cruise without using after burners. AMCA has a fair chance of super cruise without after burners if we successfully make 110 kN engine with RR.
Various other receivers like *radar warning receivers* are located on back of Aircrafts which detect incoming radar waves of enemy if enemy is behind......... Also, all 4.5 and 4++ and 5th Gen. jets specially *F-35* work on network-centric environment.......means if your an enemy is detected on your friends radar........then your jet will get opponent's location without actually seeing it...... just like syncing your tv with phone 👍

Amit Ji, the west has reconciled to the idea that it is not practical to hide the infrared signatures against the extreme cold of the higher atmosphere at one Km or more height. That is why F-35 which is their latest jet has done away with all masking efforts to hide the hot engine exhaust. The thinking is that it is better to develop better radars and more capable standoff missiles that can streak towards the enemy aircraft and kill it. Maybe we shall soon see missiles that outperform Meteor in range and maneuverability.

Jani even if UK economy is collapsing it does not mean their defence budget is being comprimised. RR is a very good company in making engines like the EJ-200 which powers the Eurofighter. Currently UK doesn’t have any plans of making 5th gen jets because they already purchased F-35s, as of now UKs plan is to make a 6th gen jet.

What if India manages to make a 90-100 KN thrust engine and then uses a twin engine configuration for AMCA? Then AMCA will be safer, carry a heavier payload and can cruise at higher altitudes isn't it?
Now it's over 3.5 years AMCA still on drawing board, here onwards it will take more than 20 years to come in to real aeroplane. I may be over optimistic for 20 years.

to mask the heat is almost impossible, specially in cold atmosphere. So they abandoned it in f35 or su57 or j20. I suggest an interesting way to experiment about this is learn Python and use finite element analysis.
