Please let me know if you have any questions about RISE 2 and I'll try to answer them in the next video where I'll be showing you my workflow rise Roli and Logic Pro.
@@8thLife All of the 5d presets really inspire me the most. They have this warmth that reminds me a lot of analog synths. The bass presets are crazy good and the arp sounds are also a favorite.
Thanks for the video. As I take it, the differences between the Seaboard and Seaboard 2 comes down to the ridge at the center of the keys and that the Seaboard 2 is slightly more responsive?
Ahh always happy to see a new upload from you! :) I think it was you whom I first saw this from, & I haven't stopped thinking about it since; definitely something I really want!! Hope everything is going great with you 😊 Love the length of this video btw haha.
I appreciate the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I really struggle with trying to figure out the sweet spot for videos so I'm glad you liked this one.
Hii, loved your video Planning to buy this grey on black beauty I have a question tho Whats the first (and last) song we Can Hear in the background ? Peaace ✌️👌
I have got one question - what would be the easiest way to record BOTH video and sound? I mean I would like to film myself playing this instrument with an iPhone - is it possible to just plug it in (as an external mic) so that I would record video and audio directly from the instrument? Thanks
Great review! You never actually said if you like it or not! I mean it does seem like you do like it but I was at least expecting a definitive "I love this thing!" or "changes the way I think about playing music" or some such opinion
I'm making a more in depth video on how I use it in my workflow. For this video I just wanted to share the differences without it feeling like a biased review, but it definitely does change the way I think about making music.
What is the difference apart from the frame i think this instrument is unreal from what ive seen ive no experience in playing keys and seeing this play i wish i had but i still cant see much difference apart from the looks in the first and 2nd rise they both have the same sounds??
Rise 2 comes with Equator 2 and it's packed with loads of new sounds. The keybed feels much difference compared to the original rise. It's almost easier to play in a sense because it lets you know where the middle of the key is, whereas before you could miss the note if you weren't paying attention.
@@CourtneyHawkins I think it wont be soon, 😕maybe a year to wait. It will sell like hot cakes I see it as complementary to a traditional keyboard not a replacement, that's why I want the 25 key version. Octave up and down is your friend.
It is on the more expensive side, but I don't really think there is anything else on the market with this kind of versatility. If you can get your hands on one of the seaboard blocks or lightpad, I think you'd enjoy the textures and layers you can create with it.

I'd love to know what presets you find work well for it and where you think it could use some work. Everything seems so great about it haha.

Do you feel its worth upgrading to? Thoughts on purchasing a used v1 versus purchasing the new v2?
Not bad at all I'm feeling those sounds 👍👍
That platinum blue looks so nice!
The keys are so nice too and still squishy.
🔥🔥🔥
Nice video! Always love seeing new stuff on your channel! Keep it coming!
Thank you so much Sanjay! I always appreciate your kinds words and support my friend.

Planning to buy this grey on black beauty
I have a question tho
Whats the first (and last) song we Can Hear in the background ? Peaace ✌️👌
It's a youtube music song called Hey There by Half Cool
Looks really cool. Very versatile. Btw - your demo sounded like the entire soundtrack to Blade Runner 😊
Yesss! One of my favorite movies of all time. Maybe one day I'll do a little ep inspired by Blade Runner.
@@CourtneyHawkins that would be awesome.
what software did you use in this videos ?

I think you might need something like the iRig to plug into your phone and use that as your interface.
Nice video
Interesting. Very sleek. 👍

25 key version please Roli.
I love the 25 key, hopefully they will roll one out.

So Dumb Expensive
