I had high hopes for this but how they have put the front lights at the bottom I have no idea. No decent IP rating and no 10 inch wheels either. This is super super basic stuff, makes you wonder why none of this was done as wouldnt have added huge cost and would hav ebeen super easy to implemen.
i was planning on getting this one but many actual owners said it's one of the worst quality scooters Dualtron has ever produced so buyers beware, do your research

Buyers be warned: tire/tube changes are a MASSIVE headache. Tire liners and good sealant are a must.

Thanks guys another awesome video 👍 Shocked to see you getting 38 mph from a scooter with only 450 watt motors. I have a Kukrin G3 Pro dual 1200 watt motors and I'm only getting about 36 mph. What's holding the speed back is it the controller ? Surely it should be capable of 50 plus mph ?
I don't understand this either.. my Inokim oxo has dual 1,000 should it be able to go 50mph+ or?
works on peak power my e scooter is 2400w . 45mph , peak power is 3600w i have 1200w extra when needed for hills ans so on
I doubt it.. I have the Inmotion RS it has dual 2000w motors and the top speed I've hit is 67mph..id say dual 1000w motors would cap out at 45mph max@@MattSeconds

Many scooters need to improve on range mileage, charging.
It is a deal killer having to charge for 10+ hours just to ride 30 miles

Yeah.. NO. The SINGLE motor version with crappy chinesium batteries is 1000 usd. The 25ah LG battery dual motor version in the video is 1400 usd

If you are looking for video ideas I would be curious to see the pros and cons between escooter vs eunicycle for personal use. I am having a hard time deciding lol. Great video btw. These cheap dual motor scooters look like a lot of fun.
Good idea for a video! Honestly, I'd pick EUC all day, every day.
Those EUC’s scare the heck out of me. I rode my buddies “hoverboard” years back and ate s**t and never got back on one.

Does have that (in)famous all-or-nothing throttle response like many of the other Dualtrons?
for quite a while they've had a gradual throttle response in the settings you can dial in, works great on all the newer ones with the colour displays, it's been around longer than that tho

It's not the most affordable, especially the 52v25amh LG battery. It's great, very fast, but the tires are small, I would like to upgrade the suspension and tires. Overall, it may be the best e scooter in its class.. Now I'm eyeing the Nanrobot N6 72V or the Roadrunner RS5 Max
Such a miss in my view not being able to see the indicators directly in front and behind, and not having a thumb throttle option but it’s nice to see a dualtron in a commuter category and price range! Be interesting to see how the upcoming Apollo go compares, won’t be as fast but has the better indicators and ip rating and the regen throttle. Good review as always though guys!

I would not recommend this scooter.
A friend got 2 of those and both broke down too many times because of multiple failures. Now he is trying to sell both, each under a different name so people dont get suspicious why he would sell both.
Also, the Range is MINIMALISTIC, you either go most of the time very slow and steady to get a useable range out of it or you push it too often or drive too fast and its less than 1/3 of the advertised number.
Electronic/software issues, suspension issues including parts breaking (and a potentially dangerous accident following), those tubed, small tires with 9" get a puncture so much easier than even my basic, cheap 10" CST tires on my Vsett.
Yeah, its a not too bad commuter scooter for "little" money and its even POWERFUL (enough) beside being somewhat "small", but in general, i would see this type of scooter more like a safety hazard on the road to be honest.
I personally ride a heavily modified Vsett10+, and the Pop is uncomparable to the Vsett in nearly all points, but ofc this premium also comes at a premium price i would be willing to pay for my own safety and comfort.
Dualtron should learn about tread-locking….

not a fan of that style of folding mechanism. also that cruiser style handlebar is a bit dangerous at 40mph😅
my kugoo g booster has a 23ah battery i paid 800.00 pounds brand new its , max speed i had it at is 38mph , that is a cheap impressive scooter , i was surprised what it delivers but i a faster scooter way more power puts the kugoo to shame lol but now when comes too range
that duatron scooter is differnt i may consider buying it around 800 pounds the 25amp battery is what i like , i hate them lights

I've been using scooter since 2019 and I am looking for my third one, with good suspensions for longer rides. This can be something.
I've been riding a n a n r o b o t d 4 + 2.0 and 6 + 2.0 for a few years as my only transportation. Still run great. But been wanting something bigger. But only had about 1200 saved up so didn't think I was going to get anything good during Black Friday sales. But seeing this. And I really liked it when it came out last year. Being the first 72 volt 10 inch scooter ever, dualtron Victor motors, I3 throttle. Some small issues in the beginning but they were fixed from what I understand. And you just can't beat that. So I have one on the way and I'm super excited. 1100 for the 32 amp hour LG battery with a one-year extended warranty :-) never rode anything bigger than a 52 volt. Excited. :-) and I always love your videos. Actually I got the blue Tran that's what I thought this was lol for 1,000

I’m 6’5” and 280 pounds. I’m a big guy. I live only 2 miles from my work and sorta thinking about getting a scooter because driving seems like a waste. What scooter would be good for a big guy like me? Well… if there are any. 😂
I also wear size 15 boots so many the average deck wouldn’t be big enough for both my big feet. But idk.

My biggest negative here is for the range and speed it's still pretty heavy. Even in dualtron's own lineup the spider has a bigger battery, same speeds, but 57 lbs. Good value and specs though here if portability is not a concern.

It would of been awesome if they made it faster like that wingmods company did for the boosted rev in 2020. I wouldn’t waste my money on. My boosted Rev does the same exact thing right now. Shame its square wave. Woulda been a real winner if it was sine wave. I mean how much more can low end 52v sine wave controllers cost over the square wave garbage theyre using? It looked super jerky in the video when accelerating from a stop.
what makes you think squarewave is "garbage"? It has a super responsive throttle with a curve response in the settings you can dial in if you want it.
@JamesFaction doesnt matter, square wave will always be a jerky mess. Even if the throttle mapping is S tier, its not going to be as good as it could be with a sine wave controller. Not even mentioning the poor efficiency and extra heat from square wave controllers
@@brandonbajc2084 so you want hall sensors, bundles of extra wires, fragile electronics inside the hub, additional points of failure to get your perceived "throttle smoothness". I'd rather have a more responsive and more reliable escooter.

I have a Dualtron Popular, i love it, however, i wanna buy a new one, one with more strength, range, and way bigger speed [80-100kmh] i really need help choosing which Dualtron should i buy next, i was thinking about a thunder 2, it has no flat tires 100kmh speed 170km range and much more, leave me your opinion and suggestion however, thanks!
Bluetran lightning is on sale for $999, or rovoron kullter for $999, bluetran is faster but has tubed tires, rovoron slightly slower but has tubeless tires. Sale won't last long bc the prices are absurd just fyi.

it's worth going for the thunder 3 with the IP rating, better folding mech, headlights, more speed and other features

Seems really weird it's only dual 450 W Motors instead of at least a thousand. The blue Tran lightning is the same price waiting for it in the mail - and it's 72 volt 5000 Watts
That’s max power though whereas the dualtron is 450w nominal or 1360w max per motor.
Not a smart design. Get off that speed only mentality.....Good for closed circuit & in park riding.

If tesla allows the federal tax credit to be used as cap reduction on a lease. They will sell tons more. Not a fan of evs but if cheap under $400 monthly. I'd consider one
The single motor is $999. All of the duels are more, depending on the size battery. Kinda, No, Really sucks that you can't change the stem light, when you can do so much with the rest. Only way to have it match is to go blue :( Pass..
Why bother with the tape measurements when they are almost always the same? Even when they are different, nothing is said as to any significance. I know that it is part of your formula perhaps to give an impression but one that doesn’t hold water at the end of the day.
Glad you pointed out the tire size. Hitting a pothole with my old scooter that had 9 inch tires was sketchy even at 25 mph.
FRONT SUSPENTION ANGLE IS VERY BAD.....It would dig into pot holes. Even with 10" air filled tires
can be very dangerous!!!!😮.Sad design for many.
