The most complete/well done video i've ever seen so far, thank you man! Waiting for mine to arrive :(
Damn lucky fam🙏
*_I'm glad I found your Channel (this video, specifically). I love the way you review - it's very real and natural and so easy to understand. More electric scooter videos (unboxings, reviews, vlogs, anything about e-scooters), please. Cheers! Ride safe always._*
Thank you! Very nice video and very informative! I’m a new scooter rider and your videos have been extremely helpful in understanding everything. Your tips and suggestions have led me in the right direction many times.
One of my peeves is when companies know the flaws/faults in their product and instead of making things standard they charge for the solution. One instance where a company did the right thing was with the Varla Eagle One. Yours originally shipped with mechanical brakes. When they realized they had poor performance, they swapped them out with hydraulic brakes. Now that’s standard on that scooter. That makes me really confident that they care about their customer’s safety and experience and also their product’s performance.
Awesome initial review well done , and good for highlighting the short comings also
Fantastic review! We need more quality escooter content on YT! Love your style and enjoyed this video from beginning to end!
Thanks, appreciate it!
Yeah his style in very informative similar to Esg's and yours Jimmy
EXCELLENT review! Many thanks for your work!
Nice review. Thanks for this sharing.
Hey, hope you are having a great day/night rk9, I love your content, keep up the great work!
Great honest evaluation! Thanks
Love your reviews always man. Every sec has important data so it feels 18 minutes seems short. You deserve more subs.
About the Victor it was my first choice. I'm glad I chose Nami Burn-E Viper. It's already 3 months and the issues is almost none compare to Victor. If I have to buy those accessories from dualtron, it will just reach the price of Nami. I also tried the Victor two weeks ago. 70kph felt would break legs. That speed would feel comfortable and slow for Nami, honestly. But I still admire the Victor its high deck and size would be easy to maneuver but it's made for 50 to 60kph speed. Faster than that would be dangerous because it's small. That size is scary for speeds.
Your review is outstanding. 👍
Thank you so much for this i hope to get mine very soon i almost bought the kaboo wolf king but the weight is what done me in on the deal breaker thank you again for a great video
Good Choice its very customizable like a Thunder. At a lower weight Yeah I got the King hate going up stairs even if its 3 stairs. 🤣
Thanks for the thorough and relaxed review -im out in the Cali desert cruising using a Vsett 8R which is good but not powerful enough - liked that this is a power scooter that still has foldable handle bars - the the tire issue def is too much headache for me - would love to see a comparison between this one and the Vsett 11
Awesome review and honest opinion.
I love watching your videos, you have inspired me to sasve up and buy an electric scooter. Im getting it in 4 days im really excited and im going to make videos with it.
Do it I'll be your First Viewer. Or 1 of the first ones.🤣
Thank you. You just save me a lot of money and frustrations.
Please upload the full review, i’m waiting ! Cool video bro
love the review - many thanks for taking the time and effort to post this,
on the subject of the suspension being stiff - have you tried lowering the suspension as per the different markings on the swing arms - i believe this can alleviate the stiffness
Ive been waiting for this scooter to be reviewed by this channel
Wow! I loved that collection of pev´s in your garage! I’m working on mine (just starting). Can you please do a review on that KBO ebike of yours? Funny, I was just looking into it as I’m shopping for one! I also love your reviews! Even if I’m not in the market for a scooter at the moment ;)
Brilliantly put together once again. Those niggles you’ve had with it make me appreciate my VSETT 10+ even more. A model to look at in the future as it addresses all of those issue and is closer to $2000.
I'll second this. I rode it's cousin Tiger 10 pro and what a beautiful ride.
Niggles
Thanks, dude! I was considering buying this scooter but after watching this I decided to wait for the Segway GT2
The same thing happened to my mudguard on my first day! Though the shop I purchased it from provides free replacement of the screws. Really disappointed that it came off. Performance wise though it was really great. It's really fast and the range is insane
my g got the dually !! hellll yeah man, nice pick 😎
I looked at this and wound up going with an Achilleus (2022 -- $3,600). There are so many scooters out there, like an arms race! I still want several others like the new Segway G2
I'll have to get my hands on one of these to experience the "beast" in person.
Thank you so much for this review. 8 was about to buy this scooter but the changing tyre part convince me not to
Absolutely love your reviews. I bought a Hiboy S2 pro and it's a fun scooter for road work, but I watched your review on the the Varla Eagle One and realized, that's what I really needed. I needed a scooter, that I could put over 60 lbs of Paramotor on my back and drive across the grassy field to set up for take off on the other side of the field. The Hiboy is a smaller single motor scooter that just can't do the load in grass even with no hills. I'm still waiting on the shipping notice from Varla, and I can't wait to get it. Your discount code still works!!! Thank you my friend. I couldn't imagine what could cause the scooter in this review to cost a $1000 over the Varla Eagle One, and would it be worth it? Still looks to be an awesome scooter.
Did your scooter ever arrive? If so how are you liking it?
From what I understand, dualtrons are top of the line scooters which is why they are expensive.
I bought one on your review with kick plate $3400 Aussie good intro level thanks
Une vidéo de grande qualité. Il est certain que la marché de la trotinette peut-être un gouffre financier pour certains d'entre nous.
Merci pour votre franchise et compétence.
Sabel from Marseille (France)
Finally been waiting all week 😭

I got the apollo phantom V3 and i love it but my god those dualtron are awesome ! Hopefully they can integrate a dedicated break regen, i will for sure get one if they bring that to their scooters.
Hi Rk9 i’m a really big fan of your videos and how you review Electric scooters and I really enjoyed this video. But I was wondering if you could do a review on the boosted rev? you don’t really have to because I know scooter companies send you scooters to review but if you could that would be awesome thanks
Isn't the Boosted Rev discontinued? But I am always open to suggestions
Great review. Consider what your hands will look like if you bin it at 40mph...
Great insight. I just hope the heat dissipation is up to par. My neighbors brand new 4 day old storm literally fried. Overheated n shut down. Minimotors is professionally handling everything.
Yeah I'm a bit worried about that with how hot it is right now. I guess we will see
Good video !!
What you think about apollo phantom??
Thanks
Thank you for sharing your review video... by the way I mist the distance of it ?
Nice views of Utah 🙂
Nice video, but you are wrong when you say it is difficult for the replacement of tires. It is actually really convenient, you just have to unscrew the arm (opposite of the break side) and unscrew the rim of the wheel. you don't have to remove the engine at all. Also using a fast charger damages your battery whit the time.
Really im thinking ive buying one tmrw between 3-4k Whatt Dualtron should i get
@@adrianspence7126
Victor got best suspension
😎
I was saying the same thing about the fast charger-not just with the scooters, but with anything. The battery lasts much longer with a slow trickle charge
Fast charging reduces the battery life by 50%!!!!!!! A pricy replacement after ~2 years???!!!!😮
😎👍.... Awesome Video
Welcome to the Club it's a expensive hobby but The Thunder & The Victor are Customizeqble which a Big Bonus most people want a Fast Reliable Scooter but some people have to carry the scooter up stairs then the Victor is the correct choice.
If you’re enjoying it, then money well spent
Excellent review. My neighbor has one and I saw one for sale by an owner online. I’m an EUC rider but am limited to non-windy days. I’ve sold past scooters but am eyeing this brand in case I want one in my PEV collection.
I know dualtron is supposed to be top of the line, but with used, excuse me, “pre-owned” battery operated equipment, you really have no idea about the health of the battery. Even a test ride won’t reveal the true health of the battery and that will be an expensive fix.
@@grazz7865You're 💯 right. A very costly replacement in the high 100s of $$$!!!!!😮
Nice video 👍 looking forward to seeing the full review. And I personally change all my scooters handlebar grips, except for the Varla Eagle One. I like those the best, don't you agree?
Yeah the grips on the Eagle One definitely have been my favorite stock grips
Hey !! Can you do a review of the ''Apollo Phantom'' from Apollo scooter please ?
May ask you when you found the leaks on the tubes was it in the inner or outter part of the tube where the tire and tube seat if its on the inner part take duck tape to your tube line it first you have fill it to get the right size this will protect the tube like a liner it will not affect the balance if you probably place in the tube i did this for my bikes and my scooter a old trick i picked up when i could not afford those fancy tube liners hope this works let me know and great vid thanks again
The Victor is powerful, but at what cost..... Don't get me wrong, even I thought that the Victor had tubeless tires......but I guess not. The ending of this video had really good critiques, really does show what this scooter needs to be improved upon by Mini motors. The speed was amazing wasn't it and the rear foot rest is essential for any scooter that has high acceleration (aka wheel burnouts). Really awesome video looking forward to the full review. Have you tried using sugru to keep the display and screws for the rear mud guard in place. Had a similar problem on my Emove Cruiser, but luckily for me it wasn't major screws, just minor screws that served little purpose. I'd say give it a try, but that would be 8 bucks more.......lol lol lol Stay safe
I never had my standard dualtron grips shift at all. Ever. Feels like they are glued on. Never had the display/throttle move on me. Maybe both are loosening for you in hot weather? Rarely gets over 25°C here. The folding bars are rock solid and they're really excellent. I have an older Dualtron 2 with the same bars, 5600km on that one now.
Sealant has kept me safe from having to repair the one flat i got so far (about 400km). The one thing i found really painful about the tyre changing experience (well, I removed the arms to adjust the ride height) was the mudguards. If the screws for them were accessible then removing one swingarm is all you'd need to do to change a tyre or remove the whole assembly. No need to touch that nut with the power cable running through it.
Overall the Victor is an outstanding scooter and possibly the best power-to-weight of anything out there other than Rion or maybe Weped.
which model do you have? victor 24ah or 30ah?
My experience on building motorized bikes is to loctite the screws especially on the sprockets and disc brakes
There's little pieces of rubber you can find online to help clamp the throttle down you could also cut up and old punctured inner tube into a little square and use that in between the plastic and metal to help clamp it down as I said
The victor is a beast
I'm just gonna get the burn-e for my third scooter. The kaabo pro i have is pretty good as well.
Agreed, that or the Kaabo Wolf.
to tighten throttle you have to place rubber band between handlebar and throttle like holder do
HELLO, GREETINGS FROM COLOMBIA (SOUTH AMERICA), GREAT VIDEO. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE HANDLING OF THE DUALTRON VICTOR IN RAIN AND PUDDLE CONDITIONS
Nice choice bro. I wanted this scooter but had to go with the Vsett 10+ as it was more in my budget. Love your vids though.
Definitely want to get my hands on a Vsett 10+. lots of people interested in that scooter
Im cant decide between this and the vsett 10+...
A comparison video between the two is needed asap...
I too like the vsett 10+. Im actually debating between getting the vsett and saving about $2500 and the new storm limited coming out in October...the vsett just seems like such a great value and i love the looks the stem clamp the headlight the suspension etc. I just dont like 10" wheels...12" would be a huge improvement. Plus 50mph vs 75mph is pretty huge.
I would like to get one but what concerns me is... if it breaks, who do I send it to to fix?
i have the kaabo mantis 10 , and thinking about getting the victor
on the your display get a rubber band cut it and glue it to the ring inside i got one from the store from the broccoli those bands are just right it will help grip the bar and no more wiggles
What a great scooter besides the issues you mentioned which REALLY do need a fix or some solution to them imho.
please wear gloves if you are going faster than 20MPH, because that will hurt alot if you have no protection gears on, I have learned from a hard lesson, have fun and ride safe out there and congrats getting the new scooter.
even now after the fall like over 2 months already, my wrist still painful if I put pressure on it. So please take care yourself and keep giving us good electric scooter videos.
Yeah, I was just going to say the same. Love your content, but I was feeling so nervous watching you hit some decent speeds without any gloves! If all the great scooter reviewers (yep, you're certainly up there...) make good PPE normal, then the majority will follow.
I sugest geting foam to fill the tyre with or get a foam core tyres
Can you post a video of you fixing the flat tire? I really want this scooter but don’t know how to fix a flat :/ if I get one I wanna put a solid tire. Can you possibly post a how to video?
I bet every scooter enthusiast wants you to review every scooter out there; while scooter companies are holding their breath 😅 great review! Any updates on quicker installation of the tires? This is the only reason holding me back---although makes for a great learning experience.
I hear you. That’s why I went with solid tires. Yes, the ride is not as smooth, but I’m willing to accept that. After all, I drive trucks-suspension is like a rock! 😂😂😂
You get a sub from me! Great video :)
Do you do scooter giveaways for fans it would be really dope to have a chance to get one especially to getting from A to b. Really want one.
if you had to choose between dualtron victor and vsett 10+ which would you choose?
As a zero 10x owner with heavy modifications done to it,and having crashed at high speed its my duty to tell you to wear body armour protection, its the only thing that saved me from going to hospital with serious injuries. Heavy duty gloves, elbow and knee motorcross guards, steel capped boots, upper body armour, and pants, and a good motorcross helmet. If you crash at the speeds your going at you will be heading for hospital if your not protected.
Great review, and honest. clearly not the scooter i should buy tho, i don't know that it delivers for the money spent
how would you compare this model to the varla eagle one? is it worth the extra $1k in cost?
how do i align the stem so its solid? mine is flexing a lot
OMG tell us about the tubes / tubeless. That looked hooooorible :P
The electronic breaking would be good for long downhill stretches.
Great vid, very informative. It's a real worry when screws are coming loose on your first rides. At 3k you would expect better reliability for sure. It's disappointing but thanks for the heads up.
good video.
hold a spent tube underwater with some air in it and look for where it's bursting then post your results. guessing, it could be around the stem area, indicating some sort of basic flaw in the design. having to get a stem extender ended my thoughts of getting this scooter. i'm still in the market but such a fundamental issue is an indicator of a potential quality issue that could kill me when riding it. not having the rear handle is disappointing as is the rear fender offered and lack of rear foot rest as well.
can you use an aftermarket charger like one you get at autozone or someplace designed to maintain / top off utvs, mowers, cars, boats, etc?
Riding bycicles for over 25 years. These crappy valve set ups are missing a fundamental element :
The valve stabilizer mini screw on bolt!!! The valve always have to be strait out of the wheel not in an
angle!!! When it's off( not strait out from the wheel 100%) than causes flats.Forcing the valve stem "off the straits line" braking/ripping it!!!!
Ps: put talcum powder in the wheel so the tube doesn't rub against it & causing thinning of the tube thus more flats.Rob talcum powder on the inner tubes.Ok!??
Be safe & stop whining so much.😊
How hot do the motors get if you full throttle it for 20 mins straight?
honesty , ... i like that .
Nice review, although I'm not sure where I stand on the purchase of the scooter a lot of extras to be purchased for that price
@alfred smalley
Whats Scooter You Ride.?
I just finished a scooter build with a 84v lithium battery made of 21700 molicells (40A discharge/cell) and a mid drive chain driven motor. I went with a 60 Amp controller. The scooter is absolutely flabberghastingly fast. It attempts to wheelie while going 15mph if I punch the throttle. I put it on a cheap used scooter frame with no suspension and it's dangerous as %%##. Overall cost of the build was $750.
Beautiful scooter. If I lived in a city that had better streets I might own one. For now, I'll stick with my Vsett 8.
Hello from Vsett 8+.
You must be from NY like me😂😂😂. That’s why I went with the nanrobot lightning. Swing arm suspension but solid tires so no flats.
love my hiboy solid tires , no lame flats
That’s why I went with the nanrobot lightning. My friend has the D5. Really nice scooter but he said constant flats
how did you unlock the victor to make it go max power
Hi, How did you feel the suspension system? This could be my first electrical scooter. I do not want to waste my money.
Why didn't you go for the wolf warrior from voro motors. It has better paper specs and it's a little cheaper??
Sweet! Does that Handle come with?
hi we’re did you bye the tyres from because i’m having the same problem 👍
Hello, nice video ! Can I use excerpts from the video (without sound) to illustrate what I'm saying in my video?
This is for a presentation video. Thank you for your reply. Yours sincerely. 😉
What city was this shot in? It looks beautiful!
Bonjour de France pour vous la qu'elle est meilleure Victor ou kabboo mantis v2 ? Merci
Hey, how and where did you get that 3D map of your ride?!?!?! That's super dope! Can you tell me where I can get that please?
It's an app called Relive
Would u recommend it over the vsett 11? I really want that one! But I’m concerned with the tubed tires? I like tubeless(I have the emove cruiser).
Tires were my main concern too. That’s why I went with the nanrobot lightning. Solid tires.
Thank you for the great review. There was a video recently uploaded showing a stem snapping on a DT Victor. I also heard there was a quick fix to this problem. Can you let me know your thoughts. Thanks again!
ruclips.net/video/KNNiEJRfGosh/видео.html
I am asking Minimotors about it now and will post an update once I hear back
I talked to Minimotors USA, the distributor I bought the Victor from, and they confirmed that all the units that they have received and shipped out have the updated stem design.
@@RK9Rides ok great! Thank you for getting back. How do you find the range on the Victor?
Is this worth $1000 more than the Varla? Only real advantages I see are a slightly better battery, slightly lower weight, and rear suspension design that could hop up a curb without striking hard parts.
Hi can you please link where you got the handlebar and the stem from? I already have the adaptor but looking to change the bars on my thunder
The bars pictured are just some extra I had lying around from other bar swaps but I usually get my handlebars and grips from DEITY. Big fan of their products. Here's a link to the stem I always use on my scooters: amzn.to/2Ten7N4
Victor on the way! How is your's treating you? Please give us an update when you get a chance.
Very nice. I recently bought the Dualtron Storm. I would have bought one of these but I didn’t know about these coming out at the time of my purchase. Would have saved some money. This seems to have plenty of performance.
How are you liking your Storm? I'm thinking about getting the new Storm soon!
@@jessa.3857 I absolutely love it. Honestly, it’s almost too fast. It took me a few weeks to get comfortable with the acceleration. I usually ride it in ECO mode when I’m not on a flat out open road or trail. Even in ECO mode it goes above 30mph. The new one coming out should be crazy fast.
@@mikes96fs I'm glad I've held onto my 5k, lol! I'm hoping this Storm will be the last scooter I buy......for awhile at least!!
@@jessa.3857 I’m sure it will be worth it! Wish I waited a couple months longer. Had no idea a new one was coming out. Oh well… maybe in a couple years I’ll look into another one.
@@mikes96fs Thanks man and enjoy yours!👍
Put a rubber piece like the ones typically with bike lights etc and display will stay put
Does dual tron or mini motors have a stock symbol?
Braking from 50 mph creates incredible amounts of heat going to the brakes each time you stop, and also induces the risk of overheating the brakes and not having braking power for another such braking action.
You can also very quickly wear the brakes out like this so keeping the electronic regen braking at least on level 1 should be your choice, unless it is not usable because of abrupt engagements.
Also, if the ABS is turned on, does it only engage when needed or do you feel a vibration no mater how lightly you brake?
i’m looking for a good scooter that can hit 40+ Mph and has some lights for night driving?
Didn’t you find out you only need to remove the right side swing arm to change the tire or tube?
What is the height of the stem? I’m 6’5 and am looking for a scooter that doesn’t require me to slouch while riding it.
A small MacGyver of an idea but could you put a little bit of the kind of grip padding that you put under a rug or on a shelf under the speedometer to help it from not slipping. I realize your point of better quality parts for the price this is just a small idea for if you don't have or don't want to pay the extra bleeding fees that they are counting on you paying for.
