We are mostly reserved and "grumpy"' ... we are cautious, come across as arogant sometimes and if someone is too friendly/too "buddy" at the beginning, we are questioning the reasons for this... but we are always friendly - somehow! 🤔 Don't expect us to open up from the beginning... we observe and try to figure you out ... and the better we know someone the more we open up! And when we do... you are up for a long and great friendship! 😁 Greetings from Austria (Vienna)!
Hi thanks for the comment I would like to ask you a question about how difficult it is to get a job in IT ? I am software tester and I don’t speak German However I do speak English French
cant forget Kurpark Oberlaa, that one is beautiful and just perfect if you are seeking a nice, relatively silent spot for reading, picnic or just a nice romantic date (not my case unfortunately lol) :) ... as for Donauinsel, here is my insight that should probably be in every video mentioning this "place", especially if you are with children - as you go south, nearing Lobau, there is a small forest and nearby strand... few people go that far south... aaand... this is a popular nudist community spot, as I have found out more personally than I wanted :D as I started walking through that forest (listening to an audiobook and enjoying nice day), I started encountering mostly men... naked :D I have informally dubbed it Altewurstelwald :D ... so, if there is good weather and you mean to go further south on Donauinsel, STAY on the paths near the river, that way there is less of a chance you encounter what I had lol... I dont judge, but that wasnt sth I wanted to find out about Vienna :D :D :D
Hi.. thanks for such great video... I will be coming for masters in TU.. is it really tough to get the accomodation near university and is Vienna safe for international students and females?
You don't need your accommodation near to university. You need it close to a metro (U-Bahn) or a commuter train (S-Bahn) station. So you can be quick everywhere. How are you searching for your accommodation? Vienna is a very safe city.
Depends what you’re looking for your family. Safety, social security, stable health care system, low unemployment rate,… then yes! But there are many that leave the city because they can’t handle the high tax system or don’t like the social aspect of the system. There isn’t a general response unfortunately.
@@KhyatiPuria thanks for answering, yes that all sounds of course very good. I am just a little bit unsure how the school system is, and I heard a lot that the people are very rude and unfriendly. Vienna is so beautiful and I would really like to live there but I am afraid that we would not feel accepted there.
@flores7216 I think Viennese (people from Vienna) matured over time. They are much more accepting than they used to be. So you might come across some rude people but this can happen everywhere.
To be fair, in comparison to other European cities like Paris or London or even Berlin, Vienna is quite affordable, especially if you manage to get one of those subsidised "Gemeindebauwohnungen" (municipal housing). I.e. I pay 330 € for 40 m² cold. Including water, waste and energy stuff I probably still pay less than 500 € / month. This is roughly 1/4 of what I earn as net income and therefore it is quite affordable I'd say.
Loving the Video! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
A very interesting, informative and helpful video. Many thanks, and a very happy New Year!
Glad it was helpful! Happy new year!
Great city indeed i used to live there i miss it a lot.

Grumpy but friendly :)

Cheap? None

Vienna is a very safe city.
You can really also explore other neighborhoods as they are all very well connected.
Would you recommend living in Vienna for a family?

@@KhyatiPuria thank you very much again! Hopefully one day I will live in this amazing city
Basic information presented and it freshed my memory of Vienna. I just didn't like the speakers voice.
This all sounds like a tourist guide. Opera, Coffee, doubt its something you really need if you want to live there.
beautiful city and video 😊 thanks for sharing😊🎉 happy new year
I love your videos 🌷
🙏🏽🙏🏽 Glad you enjoy them 😍
thanks for this , I m in Finland currently thinking of moving to Vienna is it wise decision ? Wts the Hourly wages for non professional jobs ?
Don’t have a general respond here unfortunately. Depends on the sector
I lived in Vienna 25 years ago. I still have friends there. You'll love it. If you can afford it.
