There's more than one shop open on Sundays. There is a BILLA at Franz-Josefs Bahnhof that is open (often crowded but not nearly as bad as Praterstern), and there is a SPAR next to MQ (but very small and crowded), there is a BILLA at Westbahnhof, a small INTERSPAR at Wien Mitte, a BILLA in the 1st district close to Stephansplatz, and probably a few more.
Thank you! It’s very informative!☺️

Hi! Thanks for this very informative video. I have 2 questions:
1) If I arrive in Vienna on a Friday night, will I have to register by Monday or Tuesday? In other words, are these registration offices open over the weekends?
2) How should I book an Uber from the airport, since my native simcard would not be working? Is there a dedicated Uber counter inside or outside the airport?
Would be grateful for the clarifications. Thanks in advance.
1) No on weekends they are closed
2) Theres Wifi in the airport

Hello , can you advise on whether a student can afford living expenses on a part time job in Austria & what exactly is tge part time job situation like in Austria? Are they abundant or scarcely available?
good question
Yes you can afford living expenses with a part time job. You can earn around €800/month.
There is competition of course as there are alot of international students coming here but if you apply to multiple jobs then you have a good chance to get something. My friends for instance are working in five guys, dominos, coffee shops
