When you did the root tap to smudge out the lines of demarcation do you do it with a tear drop pattern? Barely touching near money piece and dragging it down lower more near ear and back of head?

Hello, could you tell me what is this liquid you put over her roots? Does it lighten but slightly? Does it help to make the pass from very light to darker more smooth?

I didnt wanted to mention it bc of the haters but omg it drives me crazy when clients want to take care of their babies and get ther hair, makeup or nails done at the same time lol. I have even thought of a no children policy but im thinking about it yet.

Vero Leal its ok to tell them ahead of time that there are chemicals in the shop and that its potentially a hazard , because its true ( example a toddler spills bleach by a stumble). Sounds like a personal friend here tho. Its a reasonable call and it can be a real challenge to do a pro creative service around a little one.Dont get me wrong i have 6 darling grandkids. But on the daily not a good idea. Besides if there are other stylist in a shop its unfair to those stylist clients and the other stylist that are paying for they`re work space if you get a wild one.Baby in this vid is a chill little darling. Older kids usually behave pretty good tho and usually become clients! Just saying , not hating at all. I love my work!

I would like to see the combing out all the tease! I love the effect teasing gives, but I’m trying new things to avoid it because of how difficult and time consuming it is to brush it out!
+Rachel Guerra yep that’s the one downside. But there is nothing that even comes close to giving the same results so it is worth it. I use olaplex while I am detangling so that way I am doing a treatment that would take time anyways while I detangle with my fingers only! I wait until the big matts are our and then I use a mason Pierson bush for the rest. But this way I kill two birds with one stone ❤️
So pretty. Would you say it takes longer than your usual balayage? Or the same amount of time?
Grace J I would say it will definitely take a few times to get used to it and get a rhythm down. I think it could replace baby-lighting altogether once you do! ❤️as far as timing, maybe if you do it instead of back combing it would reduce he time because of the detangle time, and babylighting it will reduce the time once you are used to it 👍🏻

what is your root drop formula? It doesn't look like a nine
blowdry is much better than blackcomb the hair. it's easier to detangle the hair after shampooing.

When you say you used shades eq for roots you just used toner? Or the shades color gels for lift?
mmochoa2 oh ok so the Redken color gels are permanent color and the Redken shades eq are demi. So I only use shades eq no lift!

Hi Lauren! I’ve wanted to do framing pieces for a long time to change my hair up a bit, but I’m afraid I won’t explain what it is I’m looking for to my hairdresser well enough to get the end result like the women’s in your video. How would you describe framing pieces and do you recommend them?
they should know what face framing painted pieces means but if not just show them a picture of what you want thats the best thing if you cant explain something!
You can also tell them you want money pieces.
i dont get it why do you dye the bottoms? wouldn't be good if it is stay as original hair colour?
If they have bangs would I leave them out or would you do the bangs still?
Hey! It would depend on what look they want. If they are doing a roots look, I’d leave them out ❤️
