You can download the app from cults3d.com/en...
This is simple Windows app. Just upload two photos taken a little from the left and from the right into the app, and the app will build a 3d model ready for 3d printing
This software 3D scanner is cooler than hardware 3D scanners and the iPhone scanner. You can even:
- get an STL ready for 3D printing;
- transfer colors into a micro-relief superimposed on the main bas-relief in order to obtain not only a shape, but also an image when 3D printing;
- get 3d models of distant objects (we just need to upload two photos of the landscape);
- capture 3D models of objects and landscapes from computer games (we need to make two printscreens in the game from slightly different points);
- capture 3D models of objects and landscapes from movies (we need to take two frames of the same object from slightly different points).
The final version will be available around March 31 on Patreon and Cults. Also, a simplified free version will be available on Printables.com.

hello. I bought your program through cults3d, but unfortunately it hasn't worked, I followed the instructions and all that appears at the end is just a gray and blurry image. not even option to export the file appears. I'm talking about the 3d scanner. Thanks in advance for your attention and help.

Yesterday another person had the same problem. After the end of the program, the files were not written. It turned out that he had an unusual firewall (Komodo), which blocked the writing of files to disk for this application. The problem was solved when he went into the firewall settings and unblocked this application.
As far as I know, dozens of other people using this program have had no problems writing files after processing. And we discuss the quality of the created STL files with them
Can you check if some unusual security program could play it safe and block the creation of files?

@@Posmetyev Hello, thank you for this program, Have Bought 2 days ago this easiest 3D scanner software from cults, am also getting same issue stl file is not going to save properly something like weird result are display in each different photos and always file size is 2579kb. please any help from our side it would be great.

The fact that the file size is the same all the time is normal. The 3d model consists of a base and a 100x100 grid, each node of which has a different height.
Please try these 3 things to get started successfully with the app:
1) Here are 4 sample pairs of photos. Please try to load them into the program to make sure that the program works and creates good models

2) I recommend viewing the resulting 3d models in a color (not black and white) viewer, for example 3dviewer.net/
Please drag both OBJ+MTL resulting files to the viewer, and you will see a colored object. The colored model allows to immediately understand if there are problems with scanning the background or the object itself, and you will see what needs to be corrected when taking a photo
3) The most common mistake is that two photographing points are too far apart. The distance between the left and right shooting points should be about 5 cm when shooting an object at a distance of 50-100 cm.

I have been looking forward to one that can completely 3d model my motorcycle fairings.
Thank you for your interest! Right now, using this program, you need to separately make a model of the front part (from two photos) and the back part (also from two photos), and then connect them manually in a 3D modeling program.
But your problem got me wondering if it's possible in the program itself to automatically connect the front and back. All the user needs is to upload 2+2 photos.
It seems to me that such a 3D scanner is of interest to people, so I will probably finalize it to a much more functional

Like any tool, this software 3D scanner requires an understanding of how it works and some training. For these purposes I prepared two things:

Have you tried to do what I advised?
According to my statistics, the problems that users of this program had were not due to the fact that the program is not perfect, but to the fact that the pairs of photos that people uploaded did not contain the information to build a high-quality 3D model. Therefore, I am more focused on helping people take 2 photographs, from which, in principle, it is possible to make a 3D model. That's why I prepare samples and instructions.
This is a wonderful program, I use it, I like it. And I will be happy to help you master it too.
@@Posmetyev and on top of that he's making fun of me by saying that i'm not competent and that i don't know how to take two photos. when the problem is the final renderings which have artefacts or no details at all. your videos don't mean anything it's easy to cheat on videos. the facts are there and i'm not the only person to complain that it doesn't work. where's the upgrade that you promised? to remove artefacts (spikes that appear on models once they've been scanned)???

This is not a phone app. This application is for computer.
You can take two photos with your smartphone and upload them to this application on your computer.
Why this application is much cooler than the capabilities of the iPhone:
- allows to get 3d models of distant objects (we just need to upload two photos of the landscape)
- allows to capture 3D models of objects and landscapes from computer games (we need to make two printscreens in the game from slightly different points)
- allows to capture 3D models of objects and landscapes from films (we need to pick up two frames of the same object from slightly different points)

The license is a bit too restrictive for my likes. $3 euros for STLs it generates after I pay for the software seems like it could get expensive quickly.
So if I get this right, you pay for the software and then have to pay for each stl it produces?

Like any tool, this program requires some understanding of what can be scanned well. And some experience to scan well. So now I'm trying to make sure people's expectations match what they get. On the one hand, I warn people, on the other hand, I think how to improve the program.
