That seems like a real pain in the butt having to calibrate the transmission. You're right, something major goes wrong with that tractor, it's gonna be "Pricey". The chisel plow looks to really churn up the dirt. Thanks for the ride along.
I had to replace the suction line on our 5075M right after we go it ........Last week we had to replace the water pump (1100 hrs $475.00)......Had to pull the Engine crank pulley to get one bolt out.......
Good to see some RED machines in the shed! Even if it isn't Case-IH or Massey... Too much electronics!! With all the new stuff, a snot nosed college kid can run Stuff without even knowing what they did .
Those E23's I think are gonna be a good thing, as time progresses I think we'll be getting away from our IVT's except for maybe the one tractor. I guess time will tell!
A bit late lol, I wish we had some of your moisture, Were dryer than the sahara desert and the forecast for rain isn't looking good, I think we're in for a big drought year here in Iowa
@@TheGrumpyFarmer yup, so we might as well grow 3 dollar corn. You only make money when the prices go up in the fall and you didn't contract everything out to cheap
Nice... glad she's running good for you. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but that's just WAY WAY more complicated than it needs to be to do the job it does. I think people have kind of lost sight of that... Don't need more computers than a space shuttle to drag a plow or cultivator or planter across a field and still do a good job. Oh well, not my bills to pay, to each his own I suppose... Later! OL J R :)
Don't curse mother nature or she will send down a bolt of lighting as you walk from the house to the shop. I like the Horsch plows, gunna get one after this covid crap.
Man yeah, that tractor and chisel looked sweet at the end shot!! Pretty slick how those feet fit on and come off, learning all the time!! Look fwd to more!!
“Wide open” has been deemed unacceptable terminology, instead use the term “full bunny” 🤣 Oh crap, you bought a Ferris? Just kidding, but really, keep that sucker greased. It has more grease fittings than 3 other mowers and you do not want to work on it when it’s seized up. I have a Hustler Super Z 60 with the good hydro system.
Glad we specialize in 10 through 60 series row crop tractors!
Exactly
Ferris mowers have served us well. Suspension 👍 many years of service with no issues.
Yeah everyone says they’re damn good

Yeah engineers don’t work on the shit they design 🤬
Nothing like the smell of fresh plowed ground ! Very nice equipment. 👍
Yup thanks Hal
Glad you got your AC back, but too many other electronics on their for me LOL
Yeah exactly
Remember when we just put it in gear and let the clutch out. Any deer today.
Saw some flat heads but nothing I wanted to pull the trigger on
Nice to see you turning some dirt, glad to see your getting some better looking colored machines around there 🤣🤣🤣🚜🚜🚜🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Easy now 🤦♂️🤣🍻
@@TheGrumpyFarmer just kidding you buddy 🤣🤣🤣🍻🍻🍻
Well congratulations cousin Grumpy, you got to till the soil with your new to you Greta tractor.
Yes sir cousin Scott 😁
You like the new chisel plow compared to the old one? Ah a Ferris 👍 that's all I run.
Yeah it’s really not much different than the last one it’s just a little beefier the spring resets are definitely beefier
Thats a nice looking chisel plow. I hope this was the last of the snow and colder days
It better be 🤬

This Canadian has never been happy using metric. I still use our original measurement system, which is the British Imperial measurement system.
Be nice if we all used one system
Good looking tractor and plow. Must be a pleasure to operate. Hope the weather holds until you need a day off.
Thanks James 👍🏻

Oh yesssss....😁
Beautiful outfit Andy. How many shank chisel plow is that? How do you like the beast of the tractor? It looks like it plays with that plow.
It’s an 11 shank and it handles it pretty easily but we’ve got some pretty good hills also so I’m not sure if I would have wanted a 13 Schenk
