Rode my bike over this pass from both sides two weeks ago. Thank you for reminding me what it looks like when you are not exhausted to the point of tears. Great memories. Beautifully filmed. 👍
Beautiful, it's been 36 years since my brother and I drove up this pass, so this brings back wonderful memories of that past holiday. Thanks for the 4k treat !
I’ve watched a few drives on You Tube, and I’m fascinated by these high Alpine passes. I like your videos best because you don’t drive too fast and you also stop to allow us to admire the stunning views. Thank you.
What a great asset you are to the RUclips channel. These videos will be cherished forever amongst the planet earth lovers. Please keep sending us many more sensational videos like this one. I hope Google realises the importance of driving tours. drone tours and walking tours. These videos entice the traveler to discover new areas to explore. Especially when you take us through all the wonderful scenic minor roads. It gives us all a great opportunity to observe the authentic way of life and charming architecture. Thank you for addressing to us the name of each town throughout the trip.
When my wife drove up there, the traffic was awful; it took us more than twice the time to get to the Passo di Stelvio. You were lucky to find such a free road and I was lucky to travel with you!
Beautifully filmed. The whole route is breathtaking but I thought the first half hour was especially thrilling. The gain in altitude is just ridiculous! Thank you for taking me there - someday, I hope to do it in person.
@@7ze3travels I would like to see a video about the Transfăgărășan in Romania! Its quite a mountain highway. If you could do it together with the Transalpina, that would be a magnificent road film!
So glad I found this. Last time I did the Stelvio was early June 1984 in a 1926 Frazer-Nash - we had to reverse on several of the upper hairpins as we didn't have much lock and a solid back axle as well. Our brakes were 10" cable brakes!! I remember the tunnels heading down to Bormio - there were large rocks over quite a lot of the road.
This video is exactly what I was looking for.! I wanted video to do the talking. Great job!!! I now have a great idea of what the Stelvio pass drive is like. A picture is worth a thousand words but your video is worth a thousand likes! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Just did this 2 weeks ago in a convertible, there wasn’t much traffic and already lots of snow. Roof down enjoying the views, it was amazing. Watching this takes me back and enjoy again, good filming!
Thank you for this magnificent drive! Especially loved the "outside of the car" video at several places. We have driven through so much of Austria over the years and recently have twice had holidays there postponed. When we are able to return to Europe, we are now planning dividing our time between northern Italy and Austria - thanks to your wonderful drives.
Awesome video at the right pace, it's probably the toughest road I have driven in Europe, that too in a Renault Clio Diesel, in July 2022.-The Amazing Stelvio Pass - Sudtirol Alto Ridge
Well i seen a lot of road trips on the tube but none as good as yours LOADS of info and you even took time to show the scenery Full marks best i ever watched thanks so much
I come from Himachal, wherein we have similar steep and narrow roads. Your skill is appreciable! A small panic moment for me was when a car came on a corner 07:09, in India we have Right hand drive cars which means we drive in left lane :D, took me about a second to realize you have been driving in the right lane and were safe!
Second gear by 6.000 rpm and maybe third when possible. Mountain up EDIT down around 5.000 rpm what I have driven, so you must not alot brake the way down. Seat Altea XL 90 PS. Every time I feel bad for my car when I drive streets like that😅
@@Kayenne54 Yes it's true. But when you drive with the second gear and give not full throttle the way down, you must not break all the time. On the corners, some curves and especially on the third gear you will break often. The way up I drive most in the second, the motorbreak is very good in my case, so I tipping the break only. When you(i) drive the mountain up like hell, sure, you will need in the valley new breaks. Drive the mountain down with that gear, you drive up. It is one master key what my drive teacher told me.
Какая красивая дорога. А маленький автобус или пикап, который встретился на пути ехал медленно и пытался пропустить машину автора ролика, как сквозь землю провалился
The highest paved mountain pass in Europe is "Col de l'Iseran" in France (2 770m). I wasnt there yet. Maybe this summer. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest_paved_roads_in_Europe

Stupende panoramiche, bellissimo viaggio, grazie di cuore! L'Italia è il Paese che amo di più!
A video that is worth watching. Good luck and God bless always. Greetings from the Philippines. Grazie Italy...

Beautiful drive. The route, however, is not very comfortable. Many thanks. Looking forward to watching many more beautiful drives.
My blood pressure!!! Wow! Stunning views

I can drive from Florida to New York, but in a million years I would never try your hairpin curves!! It is just amazing going along with you! Thanks!!
I’m the opposite lol. I find driving around the East Coast quite boring but this is something else!
I am very interested to drive roads like this. Pandemic ruined our planned trip.

Amazing view 👍🏻. I love it. Thank you 🙏😊
I just did over an hour on my cross trainer watching this 💪
I was only going to do half an hour but this beautiful scenery is hypnotic 😊
Very scenic drive tour, thanks!

Your first hairpins in the forest where quite bad :D
Great! Love it! Which camera are you using for these video’s?
was the air abit thin that u could notice?
Didnt notice
i am told you feel it at around 11000ft
yep, i felt the shortness of breath while hiking volcano Teide (3.550m above sea level ~ 11600 feet)(Tenerife - Canary Islands)
Nice
Beautiful scenery! What car are we in?
Hyundai SUV
How come no bicyclists going down, just up, in either direction? I think I might have seen two, but I think they were walkers.
I was there early - around 10 a.m., maybe thats why they didnt make it to the top yet
what is the highest pas and did u do it? i hope so
