Ich wusste nicht, wie schön die Gegend ist. 1987 waren wir mit unserem Alfa GTV auf der Straße 38 Richtung Tirano und wurden gestoppt ,weil vier Wochen vorher das Veltlintal verschüttet wurde. Deshalb mussten wir zurück und diese Strecke von Bormio bis Tresenda fahren. 93 Kilometer Umweg im strömenden Regen .

So far the best series of scenic driving videos I have found on RUclips ! For several reasons, quality, smoothness, actual audio and a pleasant pace. Others I have seen fail in one or more of those key aspects (no proper shock mount, annoying musical tracks overlaid over the natural audio or drivers just obsessed with getting up and over passes etc as fast as they can...) Well done for avoiding all those 'negatives' :) (The only extra plus would be a few more stops and pauses at key scenic points to take in a 360 view )
I absolutely agree with you, especially on the point you mentioned about the speed some people drive at making these videos. I saw one video where the idiot behind the wheel nearly caused an accident with a truck, simply because he was trying to show off by driving too fast. I didn't finish watching it. At least this gentleman's videos are at a pace where the viewer can enjoy the scenery. Long may he keep posting, he is probably one of the best. Incidentaly, try searching for 'Sigis Travel Videos', he is good too.
Indeed Italy is a wonderful place to drive, with some of the best landscapes and culture in Europe. I am also eager to see as much stuff as possible from there, on this channels and on yours, as I am a subscriber of both of you :) Safe travels!

I have one question: after you left Bormio on SS38, you turned right on Via al Forte, but then returned again on SS38 and continued till the roundabout at Fumarogo and turned right again; I never drove that way, but I went with the Street View on Via al Forte and contacted your way at the exit of the tunnel. To me it looked shorter and more spectacular. Why did you choose the way through the tunnel? Was the other way closed without warning? All the best and thank you for answering me!

é uma estrada de montanha, deve ser refeita sempre que neva. A neve e o gelo formam buracos e são reparados todos os anos, embora não imediatamente.
