Well, it certainly captured the majesty, but Jesus didn't really have majesty on earth. He was merely a lowly carpenter, as Isaiah 53:2 says: "He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him." That's why I consider The Chosen to be a series more grounded in reality. I mean, if this particular film helps you feel closer to him, that's really all that matters, though.
The Chosen shows the Lord's Fully God AND fully human truth!! I believe it possibly helps those who aren't sure yet, HIS TRUTH and how He completely knows us. ❤❤

Whenever I read the gospels however, there were clearly numerous points where Jesus revealed His glory to the disciples (John 2:11, the wedding at Cana or Mark 9:2-9, the transfiguration, Mark 4:11-25, to you it's been given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom), including moments like this adaptation where Jesus is revealing the Father's plans ... "And they were amazed/terrified/astonished!" It's interesting because I don't believe it's possible for media to capture the complexity and many facets of Jesus, which is why we have the gospels. For me, I love the Chosen series but can sometimes struggle with it's contemporary American lens whereas Franco Zefferelli, the director of this miniseries was a highly conservative catholic - hence the reverent, classically European depiction, which too can have it's disadvantages. It is amazing that God can use each interpretation to bring viewers closer to Him.
Jesus Christ is the son of God i hope you know that. If you still are unsure remember how many people believe in him even before you were born. There is a trinity that includes God the father, Jesus his son and the holy spirit. The other person that reins in the kingdom of heaven is archangel Michael as leader of the Angels and known as heavenly host. You should already know this. The problem with understanding this is how we gather in the school system of today in elementary school and high school. Everyone wants to be right but we all know who is most right because of grades. I will give credit to all those who did well in high school and were on the honour as who also went on to post secondary education. For those that didn't its ok God understands even if you don't.
The gospel Jesus was not rejected by the elders and chief priests because they never saw, heard or heard of him. It is this foul lie that led to the gospel charge that the Jews murdered the son of God. The idea that a man who performed endless healings of every kind all over Judea and yet deserved to be crucified is gospel propaganda against the Jews. He did not perform those healings and therefore could not be charged of claiming to be the son of God.
May God(Yehowa, Allah, haShem) give you wisdom dear Christian people. May peace be upon Yoshua ben Maria one thousand times. But you should think twice while giving characteristic features for God. You ideolize Jesus as G-d. I have read Torah and the Koran... Both books are against idolatry. I believe that the Bible includes the words of God(which is infinite) but you Christians changed a lot. I would learn the Bible only from a traditional Jewish Rabbi or non extermist Muslim sheikh who has read the Bible because i know they will not bring up the trinity subject And there is a hadith, it says there will be time and God will send Yeshua(Isa) back to the earth. And Yeshua will judge the people who idolized him; he will say "i was praying to my father which is infinite God YEHOWA but you idolized me for years. And hadith says only one group of Christians will not idolize Yeshua as creator and they will pass the test
There is nothing in anything Jesus says here that even suggests he is claiming to be God himself, let alone proof. Another example of reading your pre-conceived beliefs into what he says.
I'm currently watching The Chosen and loved it. But Robert Powell is the best portrayal of Jesus by far.

How can that prove he is God? Any fool or fake could do that.
