On one hand, it IS a miracle and yes, there ARE witnesses to attest to that, HOWEVER, he is right in saying that it is dangerous. There were always those who tried to spread lies about him and the miracles he performed, like someone accusing another of witchcraft or the work of the devil. People feared what they did not understand, and even though there were people who DID believe in who Jesus was, the world was not ready to accept him for who or what he was. The world may never be ready. You can not force people to believe something, no matter how obvious it is.
You can indeed force people to believe something, Orwell and many others wrote extensively on this.... But that is its own unfortunate fact of life concerning tyrannical forces in this world. What you cannot do is force someone to believe something forever, eventually they will have to decide what hill to die on, as Winston does in 1984. You either refuse to accept what is being forced upon you and accept the consequences, or you bend to the will of others and walk the easy road.

It was impossible to write down everything Jesus did but that doesn't mean he didn't do them. If it is not wrong to hear each other's testimonies about him today, then why would it be wrong to hear about testimonies from people long ago? There are writings that were not selected to be put into the Bible that we recognize today as the "official" Holy Bible. This was done for a variety of reasons, such as, some of the stories being so similar, while others were left out because they were thought to show Jesus in a less than perfect light. Personally, I think they show Jesus in exactly the light that a God who has taken human form and is growing up human would behave. They are known as the Lost Books of the Bible. I have read some and there is one that has stories of Jesus' childhood. One of the stories has Jesus playing outside and something happens that causes Joseph to grab Him by the ear, pull him inside their house, and tell Him to stop before the people in the village killed Him. According to the story, Jesus' response was to pull away from Joseph, turn and say to Joseph, "Don't you know who I am?" Now, I think this is exactly what a God that has taken human form would do as a child. Another story tells of Jesus making fish and birds on the Sabbath, giving them life, and telling them to go and remember Him while they lived. Of course, He got into trouble for doing this too. Another tells of Jesus and some other boys playing on the roof of a house where one boy fell and died. Jesus was accused of pushing the boy off the roof. So, what does a child God do? Well, our Jesus brought the boy back to life so he could tell Jesus' accusers that Jesus had not pushed him off the roof. Anyway, the books have very interesting stories that to me sound just like God, the Son/The Word in human form would behave as a human child.

I like the movie in general but the story itself, I felt like there is still room for such development since it is a fictional story based only on Biblical events and characters... In the Holy Bible, the miracle at the wedding in Cana was the FIRST miracle of Jesus turning water into wine insinuated/obliged/implied/forced by Blessed Mary, when Christ said to her, "Woman it is not yet my time (to perform a miracle)."... but in the movie, Jesus as a 7 years old child already performed miracles unknowingly at first with the dead bird, but later on he realized he can do what he thinks of, he then raised the dead boy, cured his uncle and the blind rabbi... on the other hand, Blessed Mary was the opposite, overprotective, as she was one who does not want Jesus to perform miracles which is understandable for parents with a small child... If I were the writer of the story, I will start first with the young messiah learning ABC in performing a miracle, and not raising a dead bird and a dead boy at once, for example, he can start to light up the oil lamp or candle by just touching them or anything small miracle to help the family household chores for cooking, cleaning, errands, etc, then start building up his power of curing the sick, the blind see, etc... before raising the dead bird or dead boy... that is my opinion for the story... which makes more logical sense... As he grew his wisdom from God, so does His power as he grows older in statues... Remember, his power comes from God, he does not have his own power apart from God... therefore, it can not be misused or mishandled as a child... in the movie, the young messiah did a big miracle first by raising the dead bird and dead boy while in the Bible it was the opposite, by turning water into fine wine first, and then the last miracle was raising the dead Lazarus from his tomb, was the greatest miracle that Christ has done to prove to the word that HE is the RESURRECTION and THE LIFE of the World... Amen.
One thing is truth Jesus Christ is the true living God and only way to heaven and Heavenly Father! Whoever believes in him will never perish but will have eternal life in him.
I have always wondered what Jesus was like a child. It is nice to have a little understanding. I am sure Jesus was aware of who he was. We see this when Mary and Joseph thinking they lost Jesus found him preaching in the temple, in 'my father's house's.
The bible says he was a wise boy who spoke like an elder even at 12 years old, but did not perform miracles or reveal his ministry. His ministry started with the woman at the well and his miracles started with water to wine.
To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word (the bible), it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20. It is great humility that I ask this question, where in the bible do we find an account of Jesus working a miracle before the wedding feast? We must be careful not to add or subtract from the word of God.
Please tell me where this is found in the Bible. Yeshua healed many when He began His ministry as a grown man but, there is nothing in the Bible stating He performed any miracles as a child.
Hi brother Patrick. I see this idea constantly. I wonder if the Bible itself has the answer, in the last verse in John’s beautiful gospel: “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written,” _(Jn 21:25 NIV)._ Just love this movie! (I’m a Latter-day Saint.)
I enjoyed the artistic license when young Jesus taught the rabbis but, Jesus did not heal anyone until He was anointed by the Holy Spirit when He was baptized by John. Acts 10:37.38 You yourselves know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee with the baptism that John proclaimed: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him. Luke 3;23 Jesus Himself was about thirty years old when He began His ministry...

This is just an assumption in movie.. whereas according to Bible Jesus himself reveals his first miracle by saying "my time has not yet come".. this statement proves that he never did any miracles his first miracle at the wedding ceremony...
Belief in the Lord will only serve to save us....all of us....believe...pray...believe...be kind...have empathy...beware of false prophets...there is only one son of man...give him a chance...he won't let you down...when in doubt, remember, he is always with you...open your heart and believe...what have you got to lose?
They really should have left the gospel of thomas in. It really gives such a great perspective on jesus. In my mind and heart I know it to be true. Jesus did these things. He said these things. I challenge any true open eyed christian to read this ancient gospel and tell me it does not resonate with you like the words of Mark or Matthew.
Well while it says nothing about Jesus doing this in the scripture. but listening and asking and giving questions in the temple as a young boy. This might have could of happen cause he well aware of the God his Father. Him telling his mother he must be about his Father's business.
he was not mentally ill, he was suffering from hes own pain. People who are mentally ill are not made that way, society and communities and people who surround them make them that way, in other words we all have mental problems because we dont have faith. More faith better words more peace and more kindness.
Jesus never performed any miracles until after He was filled with the Holy Spirit after His Baptism by John the Baptist. This movie is mostly fiction. Jesus, during His earthly ministry, is our example in every way, especially in how to rely upon the Holy Spirit for power and guidance. Jesus said He only does what He sees the Father doing, which was by relying on the Holy Spirit. Jesus never "begged" God the Father to do anything, even in the Garden of Gethsemani before His Crucifixion. He knew the will of the Father and submitted to it. A better movie about Christ is "The Passion of the Christ". Not as pretty, but more accurate.

@@BlessingAlways316 Always, Amen.
I have to admit, I really like this one.
The world was indeed not ready but it is on its way there
@@Marcustheseer I doubt it. For the world to accept someone like that the world needs to be perfect. NOTHING is perfect and nothing will ever be perfect.

So, if a believing child asks for divine intervention, its not biblical? He was always Gods son. The scene was very touching. The entire movie was.
A child can ask, but this was not the profesy for Jesus, God is order, and things will happen when they must, not when you want them to.
Jesus said in the bible when it was time and when it wasn't the time for things, he follows his own rules.
jesus please heal me like same way. give me the peace
This is why we must read the bible. Don’t watch something that is directed falsely. SMH this is all twisted
Please remember this is a movie. Scenes like this become uplifting. Didn't we feel good watching this?
@@azmike3572 no because it was false messaging on what really happened in the word. Honestly I feel this is dangerous. If you want to feel uplifted by Christ read accurate scripture on the life of Jesus so you get the foundation and then watch a movie that accurately depicts his life. But this scene is twisted because it never happened or was said in scripture. That’s just my opinion. I get that’s it’s a movie but it’s falsely depicting Jesus on what really happened
It's an adaptation of an apocrypha book
@@azmike3572 its a curse to add to the word of GOd.
@@emmanuelaboagye434 There are stories like this about Jesus's childhood in the Apocryphal books of the Nag Hamadi Library and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Those writings were very popular in the early days of the church before ecumenical politics decided what would be allowed in the Bible
If I may add, I believe that Our Lord Jesus Christ, performed His first miracle at a wedding at the request of His most Holiest Mother, to turn water into wine. He was not a child but a grown man.
Your 100% right
Yes, this movie veered off scripture, his ministry started at 30, at 12 he was a wise beyond his years boy.

Only after his Baptist by John did Jesus perform miracles, around the age of 30
Or maybe He did it even before. I know one things that Satan never gives glory to God and this here does like all His scriptures
I pray everyday!

THIS IS AMAZIN' YAL I AM KANGZ
Well someone never read the Bible, that’s for sure.
That's not in mine😮
very touching, actually. UnBiblical, but touching. I mean, I don't think this is in the Bible. I'm pretty well versed but dont have it memorized, so if I'm wrong, a brother or sister in Christ correct me please. But there are times where I wish I could find the raw courage to walk up to a stranger and embrace him and pray for them like that. The Lord will make me ready, and I will serve him. Amen.
There could be some other writings which have remove form the Bible like, The book of Enoch
It was impossible to write down everything Jesus did but that doesn't mean he didn't do them. If it is not wrong to hear each other's testimonies about him today, then why would it be wrong to hear about testimonies from people long ago?
John 21:25
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen
Jesus did not do any of this. Do NOT be mislead!
It does not have to be in the bible to be true,i dont know what i do know is help helped People in ways beyond what we can explain

Thank you jesus
Amen
I have always wondered what Jesus was like a child. It is nice to have a little understanding. I am sure Jesus was aware of who he was. We see this when Mary and Joseph thinking they lost Jesus found him preaching in the temple, in 'my father's house's.
Yes, but of course, this is one film makers idea of what he was like. Accurate? Who knows.
The bible says he was a wise boy who spoke like an elder even at 12 years old, but did not perform miracles or reveal his ministry.
His ministry started with the woman at the well and his miracles started with water to wine.
What movie is this
Except that Jesus' first miracle was changing water into wine at the wedding in Cana.
Which movie
To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word (the bible), it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20. It is great humility that I ask this question, where in the bible do we find an account of Jesus working a miracle before the wedding feast? We must be careful not to add or subtract from the word of God.
M unworthy yet u pray for me this everyday Lord..thank you❤
Amen.
Please tell me where this is found in the Bible. Yeshua healed many when He began His ministry as a grown man but, there is nothing in the Bible stating He performed any miracles as a child.
It is not in the Bible. It is in another Book

This is pretty good
Ha ha Young Lord Jesus took him under!! As He does with each and every one of His own! 😆

Pretty, but absolutely unbiblical.
It is not biblical ...
It is not a mentally ill man. It's Jesus's uncle who's dying of a disease and is healed by the child.
Amen 🙏

You never know do you, you weren't there when He was little.
Accept Jesus and you will be healed, this is your gift
People can astral project to witness unseen
God can show visions
And I have a keen feeling this is the crazy man who was baptizing people
Anyone else think so?
The Scriptures of Truth is our measuring device or scale to judge concepts or actions, not church or traditions of man!!
Is that a movie, a series?
Never heard of him healing as a young boy, about as far fetched as him having blue eyes.
Why are you so offended by a portrayal of Jesus having blue eyes? Are you so full of pride you feel offended that his portrayal doesn't have your eye color
John 21:25
Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God
Jesus During Puberty. That's a movie that will never get made!
JESUS SAVES
Since child lord jesus christ is also god like his our father nothing is imposible
John 21:25 open you heart.!
From his ministry from around 30
This movie is not biblical accurate
this is new for me. i thought the only record of a young Jesus was of him teaching in the temple
Well while it says nothing about Jesus doing this in the scripture. but listening and asking and giving questions in the temple as a young boy. This might have could of happen cause he well aware of the God his Father. Him telling his mother he must be about his Father's business.
Amen God
he was not mentally ill, he was suffering from hes own pain. People who are mentally ill are not made that way, society and communities and people who surround them make them that way, in other words we all have mental problems because we dont have faith. More faith better words more peace and more kindness.
Please site the scripture that tells this story.
It might not be accurate but it makes a good movie to watch.
the Bible says Jesus's miracle at the wedding was his first miracle
