    1. Wash the cabbage and cut the filaments into a bowl for use; prepare a green and red pepper, cut the filaments after seed removal;
    2. Prepare a small bowl, break into three eggs, stir into egg liquid; pour the egg liquid into the cabbage, then add the green pepper, chopped green onion, the right amount of salt, pepper, soy sauce, stir well;
    3. Add a spoonful of flour to the bowl, a large spoon of cornmeal, stir evenly to form a vegetable paste;
    4. Put the oil in the hot pot, pour the dish into the pot, spread it into a cake, add some black sesame; simmer for three minutes and then turn it over for another three minutes.

    For the reviews that are talking about her Frying this... She didn't Fry it... Definition: Frying: means cooking by immersion in hot fat. Sauteing: means cooking by the direct heat of a pan. ... In there usually is some fat or oil pan, primarily to keep the item being from sticking, and to give flavor. This isn't immersed in grease from top to bottom. Maybe that's why they are the cooks and you are the viewer. Its sauteed. Just saying. 😉

    • @bevintx5440
      @bevintx5440 3 года назад +3

      That is the definition of deep-frying. The definition of fry: "cook (food) in hot fat or oil, typically in a shallow pan:" No one would deep-fry in a shallow pan; that would be courting disaster. The definition of sauté: "fried quickly in a little hot fat:" While it is possible to deep-fry anything, very few people would ever deep-fry cabbage. I believe that this is just a case of mistranslation.

      @@bevintx5440 Call it as you wish Bev. But like most commenters (you included). You are quick to write comments while slow to make, put in efforts, and post your own videos for the world to critic. It's not simple. I never would have even thought that without this video. Just saying.. BUT I TRIED IT... Have you? I'm not attacking you either, I'm just a straight forward person. Thanks for correction if you are correct I won't know because it's not worth me researching but I will take in account the time you took to point out your observation. I tried this, but made some substitutions with ingredients I always keep on hand. I used precut cabbage slaw, some sweet onion, sweet red pepper, and frozen diced green chiles. Everything else was the same. This cut down on prep time. I just used a non-stick skillet and a generous amount of oil. Turning it was no problem as it held together well. I also made a dipping sauce out of equal parts mayonnaise and plain fat free yogurt, soy sauce, and diced green chiles. It was incredibly delicious. Crispy on the outside. Crunchy on the inside. The combination of the warm "pancake" and the cool dipping sauce, all the textures, and the spicy heat was divine!

    I'm studying Chinese as a beginner. Here is my attempt at transcribing and translating the video:
    大家好,我是小颖, 今天我们用包菜来做好吃的
    Hello everyone, I’m Xiao Ying, today we’ll use cabbage to make a great tasting dish.
    首先吧包菜对半切开
    First, cut the cabbage in half
    再把中间的硬心切去
    Then cut out the hard middle part
    然后切成细丝
    And then, cut into thin strips
    装入碗中备用
    Put it in a bowl for later
    准备一个青红椒,先切成小段,再把 辣椒籽 去掉
    Prepare green and red peppers by first cutting into short pieces, then removing the seeds
    然后切细丝备用
    And then slice into thin strips and set aside for later
    在准备一个小碗,打入三颗鸡蛋,搅散
    Crack three eggs into a small bowl and scramble
    把鸡蛋液倒入包菜里
    Dump the egg onto the cabbage
    然后把青红椒也加进来, 再加点葱花
    Then, add in the red and green peppers and some chopped green onion
    加适量的盐,胡椒粉, 生抽 调味 (调味)
    Season with salt (to taste), black pepper and light soy sauce
    把它们搅拌均匀
    Stir everything together
    搅拌均之后加大一勺面粉, 一大勺玉米面
    After stirring everying together, add a big spoonfull of flour, and a big spoonfull of corn flour
    继续搅拌均匀, 搅拌成像这样粘稠的菜糊
    Continue mixing until it begins to look like this, it should form a dense paste
    热锅放油
    Heat oil on your pan
    (no subtitle)
    After adding the oil, spread it around
    把菜做倒入锅里
    Place the vegetable mixture into the pan
    用勺子把它铺成饼状
    Use a spoon to spread it into a pancake shape
    再撒点黑芝麻更香
    Then sprinkle some black sesame seeds to make it even more appetizing
    然后盖上小火焖三分钟左右
    And then cover with low heat and cook for about three minutes
    哇, 好香啊!
    Ahh, how nice!
    (no subtitle, I can’t understand)
    然后给它翻个面,再焖三分钟
    Next, flip it over, then cook another three minutes
    两面金黄就可以出锅啦
    With both sides golden brown, you can take it off the pan!
    美味的懒 就做好了
    Our delicious food is complete
    包菜这个做,真的是非常好吃
    Cabbage prepared this way really tastes great
    添加了玉米面也非常的营养
    Adding the corn flour is also very nutritious
    (2:21 no caption, I can’t understand well, something like “It’s very cheap”, “if you like it … ”, “If you like my video like and subscribe…”, “thanks viewers”)
