SUMMARY & PERSONAL THOUGHTS
When the owner of this Car first got it, I was instantly set on wanting to bring the paint back to LIFE. Sure enough, the previous owner really put this car through the RINGER. It was terribly swirled up, scratches to bits, and even had some parts that were irrecoverable, IE the front bumper. But after 8-9 days of cutting, refining, and polishing, we were able to restore this car back to its glory as well as PROTECT it from anything further (except the front bumper and front of the hood lol.)
It was really an enjoyable job. It was in the shop for quite a long time, especially when compared to other jobs, but every minute of it was pure enjoyment. Getting to polish black paint like this and watch it come back to life, and then coating it is just like nothing else. Combine coating the wheels with Gyeon Q2 Rim, and it just brought it alllllll together!
We started this thing off a little weird because the car was boxed in. So we have to use Optimum No Rinse to wash the paint prior to clay barring it. WHICH, honestly, I was pretty happy with. The Florida Sun this time of year sucks, it just does. IT's terrible... It was also about to rain, so either way I was much happier to clean it up inside. Now if this thing has mud flung up on it, had bugs, etc, then we would have sucked it up and ACTUALLY washed it, but because it wasn't so dirty, we did this.
Aaaaand thats about it! Once we coated the paint with Gtechniq CSL + EXO V4, it was a sealed deal. I was in love with the car. Theres just something about Black Paint being Corrected & Coated. I say it everytime I do a Major Correction on destroyed black paint, but it's true!

Great job man! Need more proffesionals like yourself. I own a 2020 s3 mythos black. It is a full time job keeping it clean and every other day i notice a new scratch lol need this treatment done to mine and my rims done as well. Previous owner should be ashamed of themselves
The algorithm likes close ups of cleaning. I just recorded about 25 hours of restoring a motorcycle from start to finish. I need to get a big zoom lo i can capture the cleaning closesups, paint close ups, etc. with my a7s iii
Your videos are awesome man! I’ve been slowly watching your views grow more and more, it’s solid stuff. And getting to see you clean a motorcycle is something that I never get to see, that’s awesome man. And a zoom lens is on my horizon too lol, have to have one.
Sonax Cut and Finish is a brilliant product. I just use it with an SIO2 topper. But my car isn’t black thank God. Black cars are for fanboys. Anyhow, another great video. You’re really in your element, and you are indeed amongst the most skilled on RUclips with the polisher.

What Waterspot remover did you use on the badges?
Adam's Polishes Water Spot Remover. Haven't explored any other products for that task because theirs's does the job!

A good effort on such damaged paintwork, keep your key’s away from the body work, or you will have to spend more time correcting 😂
Hahaha, I know right! Everyday when I started on this car, I would catch myself 30 minutes in to the job that day and have to throw them on my Cart.
