Have missed you guys
Happy new year kay
It's ok yal did a dope job
Lool it’s ok it happens all the time
That’s okay…..⏱⏰🕰
During winter driving, if you put your sun visors down when using defrost mode. This will direct the warm air back onto the windshield and it helps keep the windshield warmer. Just a FYI.
Looks like you are handling winter driving like a true professional! great job! be safe out there.
Hi Kayla, I'm soooo! happy to see you once again may all the blessing come to you this year. It's always good to see you, I said before loved to see you and Eliante together doing pranks or just doing everyday things I myself miss that with both of you. Both have a beautiful day.
I love the teamwork you guys have. Stay safe on the road and sending y’all love from Philly!
...... chaining up is not bad if you do it the easy way .... I chain up twice a day all tires on two axels and can do it in just under 10 minutes and I am slow compared to some others .... this method works for singles which you were using, singles go over one tire, triples go over two tires and are called thus because there are three chains that hold the traction chains that go over the treads, one near the frame rail, one between the tires and one chain on the outside ..... there are only two differences from what you did to install your chains .... like you did, drape the chain over the tire and have the fasteners just touching the ground (do both sides of the truck the same, fasteners in front of the tire or behind the tire) then there is going to be excess on the other end, the tails. this excess you bunch up under the tire stretched out so the tails do not go under the tire ... then you drive over the bunched up excess and the truck in total moves abut 18 inches, maybe a bit more .... now your fasteners and the tails are all on one side of the tire ready for you to connect .... your fasteners should now be (I like to drive forward onto the tails, granted there are situations where you have to back over the Tails) lets be on your passenger side and you drove forward over the tails. The fasteners should be, think of your tire as a clock face, at about the 9 - 10 o'clock area and the tails should be lying right there ready to be picked up and hooked to the fasteners ..... hope this is of use to you ..... Oh yes and that guy that was spinning his wheels in the lot was just shining it up and making a patch of glare ice where someone may slip on or even worse break something, if he had just hug a set (chains) he woulda bin outa there ... chains are you friends .... some call them jewelry, accessorizing ..... one other thing .. when you have defrost on it flows up over the window and then across the roof of the cab ... if you put your visor straight down it forces the hot air back down to the windshield area and and will help with keeping the ice off the wipers and windshield ....... we are lucky only having to be out in that weather for brief periods of time, sure glad I am not one of those poor sods that works their full shift outside in it .... a bit long winded ,,,, thx for sharing a peek into your lives .... as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans .....
Praying for your safety in the winter! I love watching your videos! I want to be a trucker one day. I am 26 and have a 5 year old, so I think I will need to waiting until he is older before I can become one. You definitely inspire me tho! Keep on trucking, and stay blessed!

Happy New Year to you all and much success in 2022! Be safe out there on all of your journeys!
Happy new year!!
Hi Kayla! Your channel popped in my feed. First off, wow!!! I am 45 and I would not be able to do not even a quarter of this… so mad props to the both of you. Secondly, I have so much more respect for drivers after seeing the challenges you face while on the road. You all continue be safe and sharing the great vlogs!!!
My first snow was in Carlile PA. I pull Doubles. I was shocked how easy that tractor slid out from under the first pup upon acceleration from sitting at a red-light. I had very poor training none at all in the winter. No introduction to the Differential lock and the TCS systems when and when not to use them.
This is my first job out of school. In info you could offer would greatly appreciated. I've been told pulling pups is far more difficult than pulling Vans or Containers. Which I also pull. I run the east coast which does not present half the challenges of the west.
Hi! That’s so scary (when the trailer or tractor starts sliding). I wish I could offer you some great advice, but all I can think of is to be safe and don’t drive if you don’t feel safe. I don’t usually drive winters (I’ve done one other winter) so I don’t have much experience myself, but stay safe out there!!!
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking
That seems to be the standard statement. If you don't feel safe dont drive. Maybe that's why Truckers are blamed for so many accidents because of the poor training in this Industry. I was a machinist for 45 years as well as a trainer for 20 and developed training programs.
Hey so glad you uploaded was worried about you young ladies. love watching y'alls videos stay safe.
Proud of you for chaining.. The right adult thing to do !! Stay safe !!
VERY PROUD OF YOU LADIES.....YALL FROM FL AND CHAINED UP LIKE LOCAL PROS❤️❤️👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍❤️🥶🥶🥶👍👍❤️❤️
Hey I am so proud of you. You are such an inspiration. I chicken out in winter. But after this I wil do it. Thank you. Drive safe. 😘😘😘👍👍👍👍👍
Hey Kayla great to see you back, missed you, stay safe out there Rick from Kutztown Pa 💖💖
That's part of our job that alot of peeps don't understand! We have a job to do and that includes driving a big ass vehicle in the snow and ice so you can have your supplies or food. So many have no idea! Glad your safe!
Hey I’ve been watching your videos and I think you and your wife have such a great team work formula going on. I recently became interested in trucking and the idea was a little overwhelming because it’s such a male dominated field and the dangers that come with the job of course but seeing you just handle a semi with ease. I feel confident.
Great driving ladies, winter driving is as much about knowing when to drive as anything else. You stayed safe that’s always number one!
Happy new year and lots of love to you both
Hang tough, y'all are doing great !! The wind is the worst.
Stay safe girls. Thank you for bringing the goods
As a resident of Oregon, I can relate to your snow storm footage.
I was snowed in for 4 days before the county plowed our gravel
road into town.Safe travels to you and Babe.
Yes!! Roads closed for days and you’re just stuck with nothing to do but eat, sleep, and shower lol
I have been driving for a long time... and while I don't agree with all your methods... I AM SO impressed with you and your many good decisions and amazing professionalism. Wow if I ever had a co-driver I would be honored to have you on my team. Keep up the great work.
Man , that was a good video. Keep up the good work and be safe out there
I hope they give you these loads when the weather gets better you deserve them
Hey young ladies
Hope you two had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
I thought I would suggest to you buy winter wipers
Plus as another one, add ammonia to your washer fluid,,it helps with road grime in winter 😃 I keep it in year long ,it helps for bugs in summer months 😀
Also I always put alcohol in washer fluid to help keep it from freezing up in winter I try to find 90% if you can't find it's OK
Just a little help for you
Take care be safe God bless
what a great video thank you i also like your golf trousers that you had on in the video
KAYLA TAYLOR U R REALY THE BEST YES I SAID THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ELIANTA U R SO THOUGHTFUL N KIND U THINK OF EVERYTHING N U ALSO DO IT TOO I REALLY APPRECIATE U GOD BLESS U STAY SAFE
Food for thought . If you get the chance find a 2x6 piece of wood about 10" long drive your inside wheels up on it. Makes chaining up fast and easy. Been doing it that way for years.
Damn that’s actually a good idea. I’m just praying that we don’t have to deal with this again. I’m trying to stay south lol
Crazy trip and great video!
Hi, Kayla and Happy New Year!😊😙💙💙💙💙🍾🌷💖💖💖💖😊🎉. Be careful out there and I'll be praying when you're finally made it to the destination route.😊💙🙏😎☀⭐👍
Happy new year!! Thank you ☺️
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking You're welcome!😊💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙👍. And I love your beautiful hair braids too!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
Y'all be careful out there and drive safe
Crazy roads when snow is about, glad you made it through this he driving without accident. Watch out for the unexplainable and nuts on the toad….
Be safe out there 🙏🏽
Plus that smart ass freightliner with the lane correction! Hope to see y’all if y’all ever stop in Omaha Nebraska
Great video Safe travels
I run 2 sets, one for my drives, 1 trailer, 1 steering. I found a pair of nitrile gloves inside leather or Kevlar gloves does chains, landing gear etc. (harbor freight 8mm nitrile , back in stock ( until next wave hits earth) People say I’m crazy for chaining wearing a snow machine suit, until it’s cold, then people understand why I have a dirty orange suit on. (Jockey box winter gold)
This winter try to use rubbing alcohol as a deicer. Pour it all over your windshield and windshield wipers too and they won't freeze up. And for the trailer brakes pop the red hose. And pour rubbing alcohol down the hose but not too much. Then press in the red button and it will un freeze the trailer brakes
Good video. I like this type of video. It shows the real side of trucking. Not just the sunny day, no traffic driving that many want to show. I miss being on the road.
Lol we used to have it good now we have to deal with reality 🤣🤣 you miss this part of trucking?? It’s fun and scary at the same time..
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking I don't miss the cold and snow. I've been in Florida too long. But I miss the travel.
Interesting video. Y'all stay safe. God bless you. 🙏
Kayla, I see gloves on your dash. REMOVE EVERYTHING NEAR WHERE YOUR DEFROSTER VENTS ARE AGAINST THE WINDSHIELD. TURN ON DEFROST AND HIGH/HOT TEMPS to heat winshield, melt ice. Open windows if cab is too hot for personal comfort.
BAKER CITY HAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TRUCK STOP S...GOOD FOOD AND PUPPY PARK OUT BACK!!!👍👍👍👍🐕🐕🐕👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes, some cooking, living quarter videos would be awesome.
Carefull out there n stay safe
A hint from a minnesotan. Pile up your gloves and stuff between you and the defrost ducts to keep the heat on the wiper blades and windshield. Could roll up small blanket also if it'll stay on the dash.
What an adventure. Much respect for all the truck drivers. Chains are actually illegal in Ontario Canada due to damage caused if driven on patches of dry road. Makes me wonder if that's what damaged your tires.
Stay safe kayla....God Bless and more power always....Happy new year..🤩😍🥰😘💖❤💗💕💟❣💝💘
love ur videos thanks
be safe out there on Road Lady.
I had to stop driving at night when that snow/ice started falling. I was lucky to do that because I was on a dedicated account. I don't miss those winter days at all.
I can’t wait to say I don’t miss the winters lol I need to stay in Florida lolll
Hi Kayla Taylor I know that I'am a wee bit late in saying this but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too you and your girlfriend plus I really hope that you will take care out on them snowy and slippy roads.
Thank you ❤️❤️ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, as well ❤️
Looks cold 🥶
I MUST HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOU THE WHOLE WAY!! WAS IN HOOD RIVER OR FIR THAT SNOW STORM.,.THEN WENT TO CONNECTICUT AND NOW GA TO COLORADO 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Dang! You must be in that crazy east coast storm right now!?? Be safe out there!!
Stay safe and bless🙏
This winter driving has got to be one of the worst... they're having record pile-ups because of the cold snow and winds... I know you're a careful driver... but now be extra careful and don't get in a hurry... you're my favorite driver and I want you to stay safe.
Very true, I still see drivers flying down the road and everyone else is driving 35mph. I don’t understand
@@KaylaTaylorTrucking
It's the edl has the drivers stressed... the edl Mandate is not making the drivers more safe!
JUST A LITTLE TIP ...KEEP YOUR WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER COOL NOT HOT AND YOU WONT GET ICE ON THE WIPERS
Yeah y’all lucky y’all in a nice good warm truck wale is flatbeds have to be outside all day in the snow ❄️ lol But yeah just be safe out there
i didn't know that trucks could be rocking chair´s !!??😂❤🌷
Greetings from New Jersey. You ladies stay safe out there on the slippery roads. Next time you are in NJ, stop by Rutgers in New Brunswick and try one of the Fat Sandwiches
Job well done young lady 👏
Drive safe and God Bless.
The truck I drove had fuel tank heaters... and I never let my tanks run low in winter weather... I never had to use anti-gel.
Team Hi & Hello K .T I love you so much for every Good day job. Happy new year 🎉 ✨ 💛 🤗

You should buy some snow blades or winter blades. They are wipers that have rubber boots on them that will not freeze.

Stay safe, stay warm, stay blessed, and O -yeah Kayla and Eliante stay beautiful., my Blessed 2s. 01/03/2022. Mon 4:02 pm. EST. . Blessed 1
Buy De-icer washer fluid that stuff works great
I definitely need to get that
I buy windshield washer deicer and put it in myself!
OK Florida, you need a crash course in cold weather gear. :) Long underwear. They make really light, thin, stretchy stuff you can wear as a base. Layer up. Over your base you can add thin stuff, thin but loose pants, tee shirts, long sleeve, and then on that throw on sweats/hoodies. A little at a time as needed. For very cold/windy conditions, loose fitting snow pants and thigh length puffy coat with a deep hood. There is good outdoor canvas work clothes but they are heavy and stiff. Just be aware that snow pants and a lightweight puffy jacket will rip and tear more easily. Boots! Insulated, waterproof, and above the ankle. Get them big enough so they are not tight at all with thick socks and slip on and off easily with loosely tied laces for when you go in and frequently. Get them a little loose and they won't restrict blood flow and you can add chemical warmers if need be. Thick socks with extra pairs if they get sweaty or wet. Thick, puffy, light gloves with maybe an extra pair if they get wet. They are cheap and dry out more easily. You can also use super thin, breathable socks under your thick socks and your feet will feel dryer, you can slip into smaller shoes, and keep them on all the time with your base layer. Keep your base layer on most of the time. Keep the truck so it feels a little cool and it won't be as much of a shock when you go outside. Stay safe!
Wow that was informative!! Thank you lol we do have a few of the thin under pants for under clothes. I wish we had more jackets, but when we go home we will get some lol. Thanks for this info I will definitely use it
Better slow than never arrived!
Light loads and high winds make a spooky companion!
#Facts
Happy New Year ladies! I need your company to give you all hazard pay for having you guys drive in those conditions. Keep us posted as often as it’s safe & possible.
That is so cool you cook cook in the truck not like I don’t know that lol from the Instagram post..But that is so cool I wondered how some people cook in there truck’s.. that is so scary to be driving in weather conditions like that..I was so scared for y’all when you and Eliante would post..lol I love the comment of “that shit looks like jail cell’s “ 🤣🤣..Krispy krunchy chicken is good we have those at some gas stations here and it’s popular..how many more week’s you have till y’all can go home? That is scary the wind 💨 was so strong omg I could hear it and see it
