2024 AMA East Hare Scramble Rd. 1 at Mid South Harescramble Rd. 2 @ Pines on Nine 50+ Masters A

First lap, and a cut to the little wall climb at the end that I missed on the first lap. The front row had 45+ A, 50+ A, and Women's A & B riders on it.
I had busted up ribs from the previous weekend at Big Buck, that I thought were healed up enough to ride. And they were ok riding - but falling was another thing. After starting good and running strong at the beginning I fell back to 12th after a couple of falls and banging my ribs up even more. After not being able to improve on my position after the 2nd lap, I called it a day.

Having a guy cart wheel in front of ya😮😮 just had the same thing happen to me this last weekend. Not sure there is anyway to be ready for that stuff to happen

Thanks Randy. yeah, the bike standing up, broadside in front of me was a surprise. I ducked and hit his clutch cover square with the top of my helmet. I think that's where I also got a huge bruise on my left leg. ahaha.
