Braunton at Christmas

Prior to Christmas Saphos Trains ran two trips with 34046 "Braunton". On Thursday 17th December the Bulleid worked the "Pennine Moors Christmas Explorer" circular trip from Birmingham to Blackburn. First 34046 is seen at speed just north of Acton Bridge. Then in deteriorating weather 34046 assisted by 47805 on the rear climb Copy Pit at Royd Wood before entering the tunnel. Two days later "Braunton" was in action again working "The Christmas White Rose" to York. Shortly after sunrise 34046 gets up to speed passing Coppenhall Moss just north of Crewe.
