The Royal Scot - 12th December 2020

Locomotive Services Ltd newly repainted mark 3 set made it's passenger debut working the Royal Scot from London Euston to Glasgow Central and return with a stop at Carlisle. 90002 '"Wolf of Badenoch" provided the traction recreating the 1990s. The 90 is first seen departing Rugby in the morning. In the evening with DVT 82139 leading the set departs Rugby south back to London. The following day the 90 is seen at speed at Easenhall taking the empties back to Crewe 12/12/2020

Hi my name is Phil I have driven both of these in my time on the footplate 50yrs 8yrs on steam i started at edgeley shed in 1961 I have driven a number of these locomotive I finished my time out at longsight as in 2011 Regards Phil.

I’m pleased you filmed from the car park Matt as I’d forgotten what this shot was like, also as I was down the far end of the platform from you on your second shot I was amazed how load the horn was to what I heard. Great video of this railtour Matt.

Cheers Mike, didn't spot you on the platform. The car park was usual trainspotting location with the parents when I was younger.
