Some great shots Jimmy, if you had taken the Bangor trail instead of the Western Way from the Letterkeen trailhead, you would have seen the sights you were looking for. The Owenduff bog is a sight to be seen ! One of the best vistas in the west of Ireland.
It seems Ireland can be very challenging regarding photography and birding due to the weather, yet you still managed some wonderful images, the abstracts taken at the coast were intriguing! We live in North Yorkshire and we’ve had a lot of rain the last few months but nothing compared to Ireland it seems, at least you do get some very dramatic skies too! 👏😀👍
You are mad Mr McDonnell...how did you stand on the edge...or walk on that surface. You would have laughed me me...and as for walking on the uneven ground???? I take my hat of to you...your photography is great and you make it look so easy.
Beautiful and inspiring. Thank you Jimmy. You make me want to explore Mayo.....
Thanks for the comment Glen - it’s well worth the effort Jimmy

Hi Mick, Thanks for that - the Bangor trail - that's put an idea in my head! Fantastic location all the same. Jimmy

Hi Marlene, So I've been told! I was very careful but it is a vertigo inducing location. Thanks so much, Jimmy
