Interesting that you do not explain that most of those areas are NOT in the city of Punta Gorda, but merely have a Punta Gorda mailing address. Outside the limits, you are not voting for the city council, paying city taxes, or (usually) getting services from the city. to a lot of people who move here, it is a very disappointing surprise.
