On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Spitfire was way too fast. He was mostly vertical. He should have tried to force horizontal slow turn fight.
The f22 sorta just floats tho. That’s the problem, it has this ability to just give physics the finger
@@fwix771 yes I agree. But this way the spitfire had no chance. If he would have slowed down the turn fight he might have had a fighting chance. My prediction is that he would have to jinx an avoid couple first turn but then he would slowly start to win the turn fight and the F22 would have to resort to vertical fight.
Another mistake spitfire was making was constantly reversing and trying 1 circle, not realizing F-22 has more alpha than the spitfire

@@Asghaad fair point. But providing the spitfire is much lighter, it's turn circle could be smaller. Worth a try IMHO.

The way that F-22 hopelessly outmaneuvers that Spitfire and seemingly defies the laws of physics makes it feel like I’m watching a UFO fighting Earth-based aircraft on a visit to Earth in 1944.
A plane more than twice the size of the Spitfire just dancing around it. Incredible.
That F22 moves like a UFO. The way it turned on that first turn is so unnatural. If anyone had ever accidentally seen it, I'm sure it'd freak them out
It doesn't have that normal "oversteer" like an old muscle car would if it's drifting around a corner, and how most jets move. It's just so smooth
In these scenarios where you have complete dominance. I think that changing it up and starting the fight in a full disadvantage would be more fun. I.e spit starts stabilized behind you at 300-500 m and then calls fight's on.
That sounds awesome. See if any howbthe f22 could turn the fight.

Gameplay mimics reality, almost.. Back in 1963 the RAF actually had mock dogfights between a Spit PR XIX & a EE Lightning. This was a look at how a Lightning would fare against a P-51 at a time of the Indonesian conflict.. the Spit having similar performance to a P-51
Why did the p51 win more against the f22? Was it because the pilot was weaker on the f22 in the other fight?

the spitfire doesn't have sturdy flaps, they rip quite easily, around 150mph they come off.
