On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

It’s almost impossible to anticipate and will almost always force an overshoot, unless the enemy pilot has god level reflexes and pulls off a high yo yo defensive maneuver which would keep him on your six.

You’re top of the class. There are only a couple of guys that I’ve seen you fly against that can actually hang with you. You should use them more often.

@GrowlingSidewinder; Great vid as always, love your work.
“Just throwing rounds out in front of him”, that’s actually ‘Leading the Target’.
Which I’ve seen you miss numerous opportunities, by shooting directly at the body of a opponent.
Case point, your effective leading there, hit the engines of the opponent.
    THX. 👍

Now you have me thinking about offset two circle when I’m mowing the lawn. I circle a small tree, can’t mow close all the way around so I off set a little to circle back close on the other side of the tree. Same with finishing off the center of the lawn. Flying the Cub Cadet, not an F-14

GS, You are an amazing and talented pilot and instructor. I have watched every one of your videos and every day I check for your next release.
Another way to determine if it's a one or two circle fight is what happens at an initial nose-to-nose (neutral) pass. If both aircraft turn across each other's tail, it results in a 2-circle fight. Looking down from above, there will be two different circles one for each aircraft. It will look like a big figure eight. If each aircraft maintains an identical turn RATE (often happens in a 1v1 similar aircraft fight) then they will have another neutral head-on nose-to-nose pass. If one aircraft has a better turn RATE than his opponent, then before the next pass, that aircraft will be the first to bring his nose to bear on the other aircraft. Often times as the fight matures, a 2-circle fight turns into both circles overlapping each other in a big tail chase. The aircraft with a better turn RATE will eventually win that tail chase.
If at an initial head-on nose-to-nose pass, if one aircraft turns hard away from the other aircraft (basically kicks his opponent across his tail), a 1-circle fight is forced. Both aircraft are flying on the same circle even if one climbs or descends. But each aircraft has it's own turn RADIUS. The fighter with the tighter/smaller turn RADIUS will quickly turn inside the turn radius of the other larger radius turning aircraft. The aircraft with the smaller turning RADIUS will eventually generate "angles" on his opponent.

that first battle had to be the dirtiest most badass kill ive ever seen. Not only did you kill him with your planes wake, but you survived his and started breakdancing in his face moments before his death. im not sure there will ever be a greater kill.
