I always marvel at what lung capacity Joakim must have, always running around while singing like that!

Only Sabaton can sing about the German army in WWII to a Polish crowd and get this kind of reaction

*That was recorded @ Woodstock Poland Festival. Due to copyright problems this festival is nowadays called "Poland Rock" Festival.*

How good is this band?? Let's go to Woodstock, Poland and get 500,000+ Poles to sing about a Nazi tank division rampaging through France during WW II!! The best history course you will ever take is a Sabaton concert. They make history come alive with the human stories of the events by those long forgotten to history, but the emotional impact of each song is amazing. No one puts on a show like Sabaton!!

Swedish band singing in Poland about a German division rolling through France. Why not? Try out ‘40:1’ or ‘Uprising’ from that same show.

"Cliffs of Gallipoli" 1 of their older songs great music video and the History Channel is 2 part's covering both sides of that battle. This song also had a big impact for both Turkey and Australia

This was Woodstock in Poland - the founder of Woodstock in America sued them and the festival is now known as PolandRock - nearly 700,000 people in this crowd - I have no idea how you keep your shit together performing in front of that many people.

Polish Woodstock, with free attendance, what you're looking at is somewhere between 500,000-750,000 Poles jamming the fuck out to a German tank division invading France.
And yeah, Ghost Division is their opener for every concert they play.
As for the next one, I recommend Swedish Pagans or Resist And Bite (funny enough, Resist And Bite, is sort of like listening to Ghost Division but from the Belgium side of the story).

Greetings guys great reaction :). Im from Sweden and seen Sabaton atleast 10 times and possibly more hazy foggy. I swear to you that every time i see them it makes me feel like the first time i see them. This havent happened before for me and ive seen tonnes of bands like Kiss in the 90's, ACDC, and Metallica so on. Well perhaps Iron Maiden then but they are kinda special. Im also a history buff so Sabaton being who they are is like me constantly getting a high :p....sounds weird but hey that how it is. Im not glorifying anything about bad history like Germany ww2 etc however i recognise the heroisms of war on all sides. Germany did warcrimes and so did british and USA and definetly USSR however the herosime lies on the level of individuality....Like when german u-boat command mounted a big rescue of allied nations civilians and sailors they had attacked on the western african seas under the code of war were troop movements and logistics was fair game. Their are tonnes of facts about this. The whole rescue was done under flag of truce and USA airforce bombed the leading german u-boats forcing several german u-boats to suffer casualties. After that german Kriegsmarine issued strict orders to not rescue enemy civilians or military except for officers to interrogate.

The feedback - Have read somewhere that this was the opening song at the concert, and it was sorted out after this.
It was probably ok at the soundcheck when everyone was standing still on the X-es, but then you get to the concert and Joakim starts running around everywhere on the stage... I wouldn't be surprised if he is every sound tech's worst nightmare. Cheers / B.

Pär Sundström rocks an ESP LTD F-414 bass, oh and that feedback is because I believe it's early in the set like 1st or 2nd song
