To be fair they also sing about Vizna, and Warsaw, so it balances out. I'm pretty sure they have said they literally can't go to Poland and not play 40-1 for fear of getting chased by a mob
If you put it this way? Over half a million people, closing in on 800,000 people (depending on the source) rocking to a swedish band singing at a polish festival in english about a german division pushig into france... As somebody in another reaction video put it: "this is what mulitcultural is"
Woodstock in Poland is the largest rock concert, possibly not only a rock concert in the world, which is 3 days long. And usually there are from 500,000 people to 750,000
It is a festival for volunters and it is free so the is no actual tally for the people there, i have seen numbers varying between 550.000 and 750.000. After a disputer with the guy who has the rights to the name Woodstock the festival was renamed Pol'and'Rock Festival.
This is the first Sabaton song I ever heard. We went to see Tarot and some Swedish band called "Sabaton" was opening for them. We were like "pfft opener lets get beers" but when they started with this song we were all there in the crowd :P
I love this song and this whole concert. I wasn't there but I've watched the whole thing from start to finish and it's a real ride, that's for sure. But one thing that always stand out to me in this video is the -huge- smile on Joakim's face. Especially during the solo. It just radiates happiness and no matter how many times I watch this video, it never fails to make me smile as well. The smiles and the energy from the entire band is incredibly contagious, Just pure joy. This was the largest audience they had ever played in front of, they knew it was going to be huge but they didn't know just how huge it would be. And both of the guitarr players had just joined the band. Talk about an enormous welcome. :D
Hi! Welcome to your journey on discovering Sabaton! I recommend you to check out Sabaton's other channel as well, Sabaton history, where they tell the story and history behind their songs. Keep on listening to Sabaton! Looking forward to your reactions
Yesss SABATON and NIGHTWISH are my favorite bands. 🤘💥🔥Always with a lot of Power 💪💪Not this drummer from Sabaton, but the successor of SABATON... HANNES VAN DAHL is Married...with FLOOR JANSEN. Always nice to know. Thanks and greetings from the Netherlands ❤🤍💙🇳🇱
Can you react to Sabaton- Uprising (Live in Woodstock) or Liliac- Mars (Live in Cumming, GA)? Liliac is a 5-piece family band ranging in ages from 13-22.
You have a great streak of Sabaton songs going on. As you have reacted to some Finnish bands id suggest another Finnish themed song. Sabaton - Soldier of 3 Armies. But at first you should go to Sabaton History channel to see the background of this badass song of one genuine badass Finn who hated communism so much he was in 3 different armies just to be able to continue fighting communism. The sabaton history video is a 3 part series that tells Lauri Allan Törni's(later known as Larry Thorne in the green berets) time in those three different armies.
the album notes says 650 000 Polish people listening to a Swedish band singing about a German tank division invading France. go figure. You need to watch some videos from the Great Tour tour.. En Livstied I Krieg (make sure to turn subtitles on), Red Baron, Swedish Pagans, Primo Victoria, Fields of Verdun, Devil Dogs, Angels Calling & Attack of the dead men (with Radio Tapok) is great ones to see.
Sabaton is probably the only band that can sing about the success of a Wehrmacht Panzerdivision in Poland and the crowd goes nuts.
Their most important song is about the Winged Husars, Europe needs another Jan III Sobieski.
Even the Dalai Lama said that Europe is for Europeans.

Sabaton is swedish and are big in Sweden but they are HUGE in Poland.
According to Legend Joakim does not have blood in his Veins but Red Bull.
His knee is also made out of pure metal.
They always open with this song.
The official number according to Woodstock that day was 720.000 thousand people !
Joakim said in an interview that He and Pars are "History Nerds".
I'm so hyped at 4am😆
Sabaton rules.
great reaction! also check Sabaton Uprising , Metal Crüe, 40:1 , Art Of War from Woodstock in Poland
