Thanks for your excellent video - just the information I needed. I'm short of tools and broke, so I'll use the drill and chisel method. I prefer this anyway as I like using hand tools. After looking into it though, I've also found that you could also use a plough plane or a veritas miniature shoulder plane and a straight edge. Some of these router planes also come with a fence. I'll be checking out your other videos now.

If you are putting in a 3/16 truss rod, what size router bit should you use so it fits nice? I'm assuming 1/4 is too big.

Hi, sorry for the seemingly rudimentary question, but what is the movement of the truss rod. I know it raises or lowers the neck.
But what happens when you turn the allen slot. Does it bend like a bow or it sort of get slanted, forcing the neck to slant with it?

it bends either convex or concave depending on which way you turn it. you end up with it bowed up or down sort of in the middle.

I play G&L guitars but I'd like to have some things a little different maybe a slightly shorter scale length and some neat fretboard inlays. Can you make me a neck that will fit my existing body?

Which one is the thinnest? Trying to get the smallest channel so I can make a super thin neck.
